Parking Sensor System for UNDER $20??? - Install and Review

the secret to a good install i.e. the actually work correctly are the angle adjusters that come with the sensors my limited research on the RU-vids has told me. If you bumper is pretty vertical it may be ok but most are not hence the need to adjust the sensors - you can't just install them at the point on the bumper where is mostly vertical I believe. Not sure if that helps and the OEM Bosch kit is about 250E here in Germany on eBay I believe - this is the hardware that will be used by most german car manufactures so probably works well - but hell if you can get a $20 kit to work then I say go for it - my shitty $30 backup camera does a good job so that may be an easier option.

Very good that it has actually tells u the distance. I work valet and i dont think any car tells u the distance with a number. They just show lines or bars.

I'm an installer also and I have to say this was an excellent video from your installation technique to to your explanation of the product itself the only thing I might have done different is mout the display indicator to the rearview mirror but that's just a preference I do have one question about the quality of the sensors themselves and that is do they look like they can be painted to match the color of the bumper cover without causing any damage or hindering the performance

You should install this on your rx350 and mount the beeping screen on top of your rear view mirror I’ve driven one with the same setup it was good and you can install front sensors too then it will feel like a higher trim

Man that's really great for 10 bucks I just bought one from Amazon I think I paid $32 for it haven't hooked it up yet but like the way you hook it up

I intall the 8 Sensors parking (front and back) for 36 Euros, and it work really well - toyota verso 2016 -. But on that car - toyota verso - you have to take a long moment to put it on. It's necessary to put down the bumper and all inside left protection ouh!! just be patient and cool. but after it's easy too connect it when all wires in place

Liked the demo. The only thing I would have added would be...you know how the shoppers race out of the store with kids in strollers - even when your already backing. Well, I wish you could have shown yourself walking at a pretty good clip, two or three foot behind the vehicle while in reverse. That would really demo how sensitive it picks up a moving pedestrian, child, or pet. Maybe you could ad that on another video. Thank you.

Hi, for the 8 sensors kit, the brake light signal and ACC are also needed. Are they also in the same bunch of wires?

Love your video. How can we make the sensors pick up and beep...oh, let's say, about 8 to 12 feet away? Can these sensors do that, if not, what does one have to do to the gadget to make it happen, or does one have to buy a different and more powerful sensor? What do you recommend?

to fit the provided hole saw, which size of a driller do I need? I mean, I have to put the bit of the saw into the driller. So, I need to know which size of the driller should I buy?

There are a lot of people who have mounted it on the ceiling panel upholstery of the car so when they look back to reverse it gives them the signal there

So you Just connect the 12 Volt Power Wire with the reverse one and it gets the power from it, and the other Ground power wire with some piece of metal ?

Instruction was unclear got my car flipped over.

so the red wire goes to the positive wire of the back light and the black wire goes to the ground or the chassis of the car, can i also connect it to the negative wire of the back light instead of the ground?

how do you set this up for the front bumper ?

Quick tip: instead of stripping the wire and soldering, simply use a quick splice wire connector or a T-tap wire connectors. Piece of cake - takes a few seconds, looks neat, easy to disconnect, cheap - no wonder some parking sensor kits contain one of these.

Let's say I install a couple of these things in my front bumper; how would I make use of the front ones? I suppose I would have to route the wires to the _Drive_ function; hopefully it won't beep above a certain speed.
