Good tips Adam! I don’t like when some of the lots have signs that say $5 for all day parking and when you drive in they say it’s $5 for a half hour. Nice informative video! Free parking is great! 👍😊🇨🇦

Good tips Adam! I am bummed the parks commission added the residency requirement for the annual parking pass. I purchased the pass in May of 2023 before the change and it was good until May 2024. In that year, I got in 3 visits to the Falls and saved a good amount of money on parking. I suppose that's the reason they added the residency requirement. They figured they were losing too much money on out of towners who bought the pass. Just another way for the Niagara Parks Commission to gouge us tourists. What they fail to take into consideration is that the pass did encourage me to visit places I would not have visited without the pass. As an example, I parked at Queen Victoria Place and had a very overpriced meal at the restaurant. The only reason I ate there was becasue of the pass and the ability to park in their lot. I never would have parked elsewhere and walked to eaten at that restaurant. I also spent money in the Queen Victoria Place souvenir shop. Again, I barely ever visited that gift shop before I had the parking pass. Another example is when I arrived on my one visit, I had time to kill before checking in at my hotel, so I parked in the Table Rock Centre and took the incline railway up to the Fallsview District. I spent money at the Fallsview Casino and some of the gift shops there. Typically, I avoid the Fallsview District and the only reason I went there and spent money was because of the parking pass. On another visit, I again had time to kill and decided to do the Journey Behind the Falls. The only reason for that was because I could park at the Table Rock parking lot without having to pay since I had the pass. If I had to pay the $35 to park, I would not have done so and would not have done the Journey Behind the Falls. So, the parks commission is missing the big picture by adding the residency requirement. The annual pass did encourage tourists to visit and revisit locations and attractions and did result in tourists spending money at those locations and attractions. It generated income not only for the park but also for private business. It would be nice if they had like a two or three day pass for tourists. Having to pay the exorbitant fee for each entry into a lot is ridiculous. Oh well, thanks for letting me rant, lol.

I do agree with you. They should open it up to everyone like before.

As a Parks employee, I agree with you. However, I think that you should tell the Parks Commission what you wrote here. Sometimes they listen to our visitors.

Thanks @@desireeclarins5491 for your suggestion. Funny you should suggest that because as I was writing my comment, I was thinking I should tell it directly to the Park Commission instead of clogging up Adam's comment section. I will check out the commission's website. I assume they have a "Contact Us" link. Thanks for your reply and for your work with the Parks Commission in preserving the natural beauty and wonder of Niagara Falls!

@@ThomasC-Crazy4NiagaraFalls - You are very welcome! Us employees tried to stop the Parks from charging at parking lots that were always free before. But since they were determined to charge at every parking site, we insisted that they provide a parking pass for locals who regularly fish, hike, bike and walk in the Parks. So they did do at least that much. Often times the Parks makes stupid, short-sighted decisions, such as only allowing residents of Ontario to purchase parking passes. I hope that they remedy this situation because I do believe that they are driving repeat business away, such as yours, by not selling parking passes to whomever wants one.

@@desireeclarins5491 I agree about driving visitors away. I did a video specifically about the parking pass a couple years ago before it was for Ontario residents only and people still watch and complain about the fact that it's not eligible to everyone. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I parked at that first lot you showed the past couple times I went. It is a good lot. I miss the old days of free parking at Rumors night club.

Great tips Adam! The $45 annual parking sounds like a great idea. We used to picnic in various parks near the Falls and the parking fees add up pretty quick!

Hi Adam, Thank you for this great information on parking in Niagara Falls. 👍. It is interesting we always take the bus to Niagara all the time and our Fallsview Casino Membership always gives us free parking. However if our friends who do drive come always ask us for parking tips and cost. This is something that we can relay to them if they come for a day or a few days. This will always help. Looking forward to your next live or reviews on anything Niagara and the region. 🙏👍🌊

Hi Adam, I think the best thing to do before you park is to take photos of both sides of the parking sign with the cost so they can't charge you extra! What do you think?

Good tips👍I am staying at sheraton fallsview for two nights. Which parking will be the cheapest option near sheraton fallsview?
@HiddenJackpots
@HiddenJackpots 2 месяца назад
I would probably suggest parking at Casino Niagara. It will be a little bit of a walk with the luggage though. I'm not sure what the cost is to actually park at the Sheraton property

It's actually called Peer St. free parking all the way down on one side of the street.

I will visit Clifton Hill and Niagara Falls. Which one would you recommend for 5-6 hours of parking?
@HiddenJackpots
@HiddenJackpots 2 месяца назад
Usually the private parking lots are pay by the hour but after 3-4 hours it's for 8 hours and a flat rate. My suggestion is to park early when it's cheaper

How about for overnight
@HiddenJackpots
@HiddenJackpots 11 дней назад
Overnight parking is a little more difficult. You'd have to watch out for the signs. The casino's might be a good choice as people from the hotles park there. You just have to pay the cost of parking when you leave which will most likely be cheaper than paying the price at the hotels
