Parkour 101 is the official parkour / freerunning tutorial video series produced by Parkour Generations, the world's first and leading coaching body for the discipline and co-creators of the global A.D.A.P.T qualification programme. Parkour 101 provides insights from the experts as to how to take your first steps into learning parkour / freerunning safely, gradually and progressively.
In this episode Blane introduces the first steps to learning a good arm jump, or saut de bras in French - also known as a cat-leap in English. A central movement in parkour, the arm jump enables you to jump straight to walls/obstacles that you cannot get your feet on top of in one movement, thus enabling you to pull up and move over the obstacle.

I would also like to emphasis the importance of looking at stuff with both eyes rather with one closed

Largest training community in the world is London right now - some 500-700 people per week in the Academy classes alone!

landing with two feet is totally optional, you need to understand when you aren't strong enough for a jump, I sometimes keep one foot static in the event that I should fall it would catch me and I've never had a problem.
