hi i just found your channel, i wanted to say that by the second video now, you are one of my favorite CS players that i’ve watched. i love this game but sadly i can’t afford a good computer to play it on. i love seeing what you and the other guys can do and there is no doubt that when i can finally play the game myself, my cities will be influenced by you as well. one day it’d be so awesome if i could be apart of the youtube CS community. anyway, you’re awesome! this build looks awesome! thank you!
omg, lol I completely forgot I re-added that to my playset. I had heard it didn't play nicely with Move It, but downloaded it again the other day to test the waters haha. Good call, thanks!
@12:56 Yes - the Production is how much you're creating, Population is how much your citizens consume, and companies is how much your companies consume. If production is greater than consumption, you export (after storage is full), and if consumption is greater, you import. Citizens don't consume any raw goods, only processed products.
Hay man you have a great channel that has just started to grow. Ive been toying with the idea of starting my own channel now for the last 4 years ever since i discovered CS1. Do you have any tips for starting a channel. Im a little overwhelmed about how to start recording and what the process should look like?
Oh jeez thanks! Ha well I literally had 7 followers (including family and friends) until a couple of weeks ago. I only started growing after the golf course episode, not sure why haha. In terms of recording, I use OBS Studio (free!) and Davinci Resolve for video editing (also free!). Also, RU-vid has its own library of copyright-free music, under the "Audio Library" tab in the creator dashboard. All of those tools are helpful. In terms of process, I kinda winged it at first, but I'm starting to plan out the episodes more now. I'll play around a bit, see what I want to build and how to make it look nice, then record a snippet and save it as a discrete video chunk. A lot of trial and error. Does that answer your question? Happy to answer more if you'd like!
@@skilzthatkilz11 No that's perfect. My assessment was that I have to play around with the process a bit before i could define it. So it's good to hear that is a similar process.
