Parkside PWBS 180 B2:
Few months ago I bought Parkside PWBS 180 B2 - sander for wood and walls. Afrer sanding down aproximatelly 70 square meters of walls I decided to check condition of the gearbox. What I found was quite surprising ...
(Old version PWBS 180 A1 had probably the same problems...)

ok i have seen that PWBS 180 A1 have many issues of dead motors and i was agree to buy a PWBS 180 B3 ..... but before i saw your video ! Now it seems that this device cleraly have a conception problem ! Thanks !

its possible to use silicon rubber or mastic bathroom ( sry for by bad english) for sealing and avoid sand and duster in gear?

I think it migh help a bit :) But you should consider that there might be quite high temperature (so would be better to use some sealant that resists higher temperatures). Also consider, that you might loose warranty with this upgrade :) Have a nice day

Hi, my pwbs 180, is working slow. It seems that velocity controls doesn’t work. I have the feeling that the pwbs 180 is working at minimum power. Do you think it is this same issue you fix in this video?

You are right...Hope the sander will last for few more hours (at least) :D Need to sand down one more wall...

I didn't start to work with that item, but after i saw the dust inside, i sealed the green and black plastik parts with cheapest silicone 2€, also the strange square hole. The aluminium gearbox can be pushed out by hand, also sealed that around. I left excess silicone as it is, just to avoide to pull out the seal inbetween the parts. It dont have to be pretty but functional 😉 The silicone dont stick to the pakside plastic as an glue, removing by rubbing of is not a Problem

@@miranj1 Well, I am not really sure if there is a way how to fix this ( it is a problem of design)...but maybe some kind of seal might help a bit ( sealant )
