The dynamics of this song are insane. Just to name a few, winstons screaming of the line "like a million before us", the breakdown and winstons scream of "sit back and watch as time eats us alive!" then the outro does a turn around and goes melodic as he screams " in time, and so it ends, in time, we all find an end" this is a bloody masterpiece. No other band compares to parkway. And the lyrical content blows so many other bands out of the water
"And so it ends. In time, it all finds an end. In time, and so it ends. In time, We all find an end. With broken arms and hollow eyes, I'll wait to return to oblivion. Embrace our last empty Horizon. Embrace our last empty Horizons." This is what I want to hear before dying.
That growl at 4:53, is so fucking deep, and not just "deep" meaning a low growl, but deep emotionally, plus that sweep picking in the background... It kills me
4:20 until 5:35...by God there is so much beauty in the Breakdown. I've cried. laughed, thrown things in pure undulated anger, and died a thousand deaths to this song.
just brilliant, it s the most beautiful song i ever listened to. i fell i can listen to it millions of times. That guitar that sound that lyrics, just amazing
I have school tomorrow and its getting late, should i go to bed or stay up all night and listen to this song?......STAY UP ALL NIGHT LISTENING TO THIS SONG!!!
I love the meaning to this song, in life people get so caught up in trying to reach to the top that in the end it doesnt matter, enjoy what you have! spend time on your love ones because you only have one life and like the song stats time will eat you alive!
love this song so much meaning in the lyrics, deffinately my favorite band they havnt sold out, their original, and every song is amazing theres no dissapointment
@metalbuster100 - I thought that too, initially (a long time ago), but after listening to PWD songs about 2,000 times later, I couldn't imagine their songs with anything but larynx-destroying screams.
@MisusedMisfit I actually made it with windows movie maker (using title slides and the original mp3), but I changed the font style and background color so it would be less obvious.
