Dear Sir, I would first like to say how much I love and appreciate your videos. I had the privilege of hosting a gourmet dinner for 6 guests yesterday and prepared your parsnip and apple soup. It was PHENOMINAL, my guests could not believe their tastebuds and they could not stop raving about it. Thank you so much and I look forward to future videos. Cheers!
I never eaten parsnips but I would love to try your soup, and thank you for sharing another lovely story about your days with the royal family, especially princessvDiana, the way you speak about her feels like she was happy to chat with someone who was like a close friend to her even you know you an employee.
I hadn’t tried them until a few years back and they are a lovely and unique ingredient. They are super bright and zesty tasting. They are also great roasted with some EVOO, then topped with fresh dill, flakey salt and pepper. 💖🙏🕊
That soup looks lovely! Thank you Chef Darren for bringing up some good memories about Princess Diana. She seems to be like a person whom you can chat easily about what happens to you in a day. 😊
It sounds like Queen Diana really appreciated your cooking and delicious 😋 recipes. Plus being in the company of and interacting with 'ordinary' down to earth, friendly and warm hearted people 😅😊👌 👍
You are so special unique unbelievable person and chef and make most beautiful meals and so memorable of the royals and absolutely a gift and so talented and role model and so sweetest person on earth 🌷🧡🌷
Just made this soup... It is the second recipe I have made of yours. I have to say it was very nice and I will definitely be making this again. I am yet to try the stuffed pepper though I grew up with my family making a very similar version so I can imagine it is just as good 👌🌹
I’m in the process of making this beautiful dish for my princess, my wife lol. Right now it’s simmering and it smells amazing! We had extra parsnips and am so excited to try
👍 Been wondering how you've been doing. Glad all is well. My mom used to add parsnips to side dishes, sometimes to carrots (coarsely mashed, lots of butter, salt, pepper: so good) or the same to rutabegas. This is an interesting recipe. I love soups like this in lieu of a heavy meal sometimes on a cold afternoon or in the evening. Blessed Passover and Happy Easter-Resurrection Sunday Darren!
Beautiful soup! I love your recipes and your personality is so gorgeous. You are JOYOUS! What a lovely man you are! ❤ And we LOVE hearing about Princess Diana! We love her always! Her and the Royal family. Keep the good memories coming! And the recipes! 💕
Not common l, they tend to eat a protein and veg. Like salmon and vegetables with perhaps maybe 1 very small new potato. Or a steak with a green salad. They drink water with their meals rather than champagne all the time. They eat traditional English in season Fayer
He's mentioned that the Queen didn't eat pasta because of the sauce. She was concerned about anything that could be messy when she was entertaining as a head of state. Likewise she avoided foods with garlic and onions.
🤍 Thank You Darren , I want to try this recipe , Veganized. I really like Parnips , before I didnt know about them until We had an incredible Autumn Hash with them 💟🤍
🤍😊✋️Hi Darren , Im wondering are there any favourite Dishes that are with Swede ( I really was surprised to Like , what is called Ruttebegas in The US ?? They were plainly prepared when in the UK ) And something like a recipe I saw in Tasting History , Max prepared Armored Turnips ' . Thank You , ThanksGivings 🤍💗
Your recipes are fantastic. You can level them all up by cooking them seasonally and using the very best ingredients you can, OR you can cook them cheaply as easy, fuss-free everyday dinners. Your consideration of the versatility and practical aspects of menu building has been noted. I suspect it's such an underrated and overlooked aspect of your professional character here on RU-vid but the way you create your dishes and edit your online offerings definitely set you apart. It's all 'behind the scenes' stuff going on in a working chef's brain and therefore, integrated into your personality and life experience-- of which you'd fill volumes. Thank you so much for deciding to start a channel. I can't wait to cook this soup in particular, parmesan cream and all. 😋
