Thank you. Initial onset 10 years ago, 10 days after a flu shot. Diagnosis took about 9 months. My right UE and hand remain affected to this day, I was told if I was lucky I'd regain 70% of function. I did not believe the M.D. but he was right, I think I lost about 40% of my strength and I have poor dexterity, stiffness and cramping in my right dominant hand. Thenar atrophy, 24/7 paresthesias in my index finger, side of thumb and side of middle finger, as well as the top of my hand. These symptoms have not abated even once. It's a very debilitating condition for some. Good luck to all.
Yes, my father got parsonage Turner syndrome within a mere few days after his vaccine, and believes it was from the vaccine. He is really upset over this as he’s always been a very active person, but now has no use of his arm and it is now completely atrophied. It also took about 7 to 8 months, until he finally found a doctor that knew what it was and could give a diagnosis. But only to be told that it could take up to 3 years to get function back.
