I'm not aware of a mold for bigger lure bodies than the one I show here. I did do some research though and found a worm sinker mold with sizes up to 5/8 oz that I don't see why it wouldn't work. The mold is do it mold and the model number is WR-9-A. The weights are shaped much like those used in Panther Martin spinners. Just Google the model and you should find it. You could probably also use a MODEL 3149. It is a trolling weight mold with sizes 1/4 to 3/4 oz and I think the profile should work for a spinner as well by adding a double bead between the weight and the spinner blade. Here is a link rockislandsportsgov.com/do-it-trolling-sinker-1-4-3-8-1-2-5-8-3-4-oz-model-3149/ I hope that helps. Thanks for watching and may God bless!
Not from Do-it,but there are custom mold makers that can. Do-it does make one size molds for some other molds, these are listed as their Pro models. They're mostly in the jig category. One can make their own molds too, wood and body putty works for a time but will eventually need replaced. Those weight molds he's referring to is known as worm or bullet weights and they'll work for spinner bodies. You can also use metal and/or plastic beads to make bodies.
@@thefrugalsportsman I knew an avid pistol shooter reloaded so many bullets he ended up with lead poisoning. He also melted lead and poured bullets. I don't mean to ridicule just want people to avoid problems.
@@Kaufeetimevideo I heard a similar story about someone who got lead poisoning from a friend of mine that reloads. I felt your comment was very helpful, and it made a good point to help allow people to enjoy a great hobby, but still stay safe! Thanks again for sharing and stay blessed!
Do you know where I can find these lure bodies already pre-made? I can't find this style of lure body anywhere in stock and it's driving me mad! Wish I could just buy tons of em and keep em stocked!
I found these on Ebay and they might work for you: www.ebay.com/itm/325118898698?chn=ps&var=514031898318&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&itemid=514031898318_325118898698&targetid=1263104806246&device=c&mktype=&googleloc=9007031&poi=&campaignid=14859008593&mkgroupid=130497710760&rlsatarget=pla-1263104806246&abcId=9300678&merchantid=112223509&gclid=Cj0KCQjwof6WBhD4ARIsAOi65ahmDpMunHEHUTYg2t2dbo4PuA50lDVJKIs8MYZId_qr7-xdIOdSVRwaAqK5EALw_wcB I hope that helps. I bought the mold as I already had the melting pot and that way I don't have to depend on someone else keeping them in stock. Plus its fun to do. Thanks so much for watch and may God bless you!
