JJ is THE ONLY person in media holding Doc accountable and not letting him yap on about excuses and being a Yes Man, it’s what Doc’s former player SHOULD be doing

But doc was the only one that gave him that starting job. He was not starting in Orlando, only a few times. That bucks stint was okay. Yeah he could have went else were but at that time he wouldn’t have been the starter like he was on clippers and that’s for damn sure.

So to JJs point why waste everyone’s time and your own time if you knew it was for sure not gonna be in for a slight chance at winning? People act like Doc didn’t completely revamp the LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS! And if GSW wasn’t the Godzilla of the league, that he might have contended for more. I’ll make it easier to grasp… the criticism for Doc Rivers during that era is the EXACT SAME CRITICISM… for Lebron James. Now hush. Please.

The whole “doc gave him a chance” argument is stupid cuz he would’ve started wherever, but beyond that, who gives a FLYING FUCK that doc gave him a chance? Why does that matter? 😭 if doc is on bullshit, why shouldn’t JJ be able to call him out just cuz “doc gave him a shot” if you on bullshit, you on bullshit. I’d call out my mom and my dad if they was doing some stupid shit and them mfs birthed me, so why should anyone care who it is? 😭😭

Even wDoc did give him an opportunity(let’s say all that was true) SO WHAT? That doesn’t mean he’s lying or he’s wrong. That’s how you handle a conflict of interest. Be objective. The NBA keeps Doc almost like a token black😂…no one could say black coaches are treated differently because they’ll always bring their boy Doc to kill that narrative. I remember when Walton was hired right after getting fired by the Lakers and the media was having a fit as to why Mark Jackson didn’t even get an interview and the propaganda was “what about Doc Rivers It’s not race related!”.

Doc literally back doored his way back into being a head coach. It's so shameful what he and the bucks did to Adrian Griffin. It's crazy that that Doc gets another chance at being a head coach but Mark Jackson can't even get a interview 🤦🏽‍♂️

Stupidest argument. There are more coaches who have not won NBA championships compared to those that have. He is a coach not a player. Phil Jackson won all those chips because he had better teams. Greg won all of those chicks because he had better teams. Van Gundy and other coaches have had multiple jobs and never won a championship. Miami has had the same coach for years and how many championships have they won under him? The Bucks had not won a championship since Kareem was there and this was before he was Kareem, and they let him go a season or two after they won the championship. The coach who won the championship with the Lakers in the bubble is on his third team now. I don't understand why does Rivers get so much hatred for getting multiple jobs. If Paul had not gotten hurt I believe the clippers would have gone all the way that season. Leonard and George did not live up to the hype during his reign. Philadelphia did not have enough pieces and they still don't even though he is gone. Same in Orlando. Blaming him is actually taking away credit from the teams that beat the teams he coached. So dumb

JJ was a premier 3pt shooter when he was in the league, him & kyle korver were 2 guys you absolutely did not want to start catching fire cuz they will light you up all night long. The Clippers traded a rookie for JJ, that wasn’t giving him a chance that was them securing a key piece for their team.
