YOU ASKED FOR IT! ITS HERE! Part 1 of WWE's Bone Crunching Action Figure History!!
Bone Crunching Action was the primary line of wrestling figures for WWF (WWE) collectors in the mid to late 90s! Hasbro produced WWF figures from 1990 to 1994, and Just Toys would try to fill the void with their bendable figures, but nothing would stick quite like Jakks Pacific's Bone Crunching Action! Started by a former LJN company executive, Jakks launched their WWF BCA figures, which lasted from 1996 until the end of 1999, with a surprise return in 2000 at discount stores!
As a wrestling collector myself, I've stood by and watched Hasbro's WWF line soak in all the nostalgic glory, and rightly so! But its time for Bone Crunching Action to get the recognition it deserves. With our three chapter BCA series we will leave nothing uncovered!

November 1: Part 3 (1999 to the End of BCA)

I remember getting the Razor and Diesel 2 pack and the Shawn and Vader 2 pack at Hills when they were new. I guess the exclusivity wasn't 100% exclusive on those.

I grew up with hasbros but once I saw Series 1 HBK the BCAs became my favorite line. I first saw the Shawn figure at a live event in MSG in 96. The main event was Shawn and Taker vs. Mankind and Goldust. During the event I saw another kid in the crowd holding a moc HBK figure. It blew my mind that the figures actually looked like the wrestlers. They weren't midget versions of them. They were detailed full sized figures. I was hooked immediately. I still have all of my originals. I miss those days. Dope video! Looking forward to part 2.

I could never find myself a British Bulldog figure in the Hasbro line of figures...😕...But I was able to find one in this line, and I was halfway satisfied with it...but I still wanted the Hasbro one...🤘🏼💯✔️

This was an awesome in depth episode and just part 1. Very entertaining and informative. I learned so much. Cool video and when these first came out me and my brothers said wow it is like WWF LJN mixed with AWA Remco figures. The first one to hit my house was Diesel then came more to follow as the years went on. As of right now i restated getting and making customs in the BCA figures and i am working on some Stop Motion matches with some BCA figures in a custom Monster ring to fit the BCA line better.

I had most of this line and these were the figs that I was the most creative with. Before they released the "Championship Pack" I made my own belts out of construction paper, gold foil paper (my mom had a craft room) & glue. I also saved all my boxes & card backings so I could litterally cut and paste the logos on the entrance stages I made. I used those plastic stands some of the figures came with too. I would even make "arenas' in a blanket fort, with these portalble speakers connected to my CD player and bunch of flashlights. Then even though my love for wrestling grew stronger as I got older, I lost interest in figures. I did get a little jealous of my younger cousins who got actual tables/accesories and titan tron playsets. Looking back, although my playsets were cardboard/wood or whatever materials I could find, mine were probably better scale/size than the official playsets. I remembe them bein quite small. Anyway great video, brought back a ton of memories.

I’m from Markham, TX. We’re right by Edna TX. I’m pretty much the one guy who has done everything but meet Steve Austin. My mom has the same birthday has him. I’ve met people he has. I’ve played Edna in different sports. Had the same dorm room as him in junior college. When I was a kid, I got his first action figure in Victoria, TX. I had several of his shirts. Bought all his vhs,dvd,blu rays. Point being I’m his biggest fan and would love to meet him. Just shooting my shot.

My first BCA figure was a post-BCA era American Badass Undertaker figure in 2001. Which featured a repainted 1997 Taker head mould. Then in 2003-2004, my mom bought my sister and I two big tubs of used older BCA figures from a seller we didn't know was unreputable and my sister spent a month washing the filth off them
