18:32 During the first garrador fight you can walk around just don't bump into to the chains as that what alerts it to your position. 42:19 I imagined Ashley dropped the knife to where Leon could still grab it through the gate, 1:05:18 When you drop down you can duck the scythe but the way you deal with it is actually better. 1:24:00 Leon and Ashley can sit in either chair. 2:28:30 The black liquid is probably just to make the parasite guaranteed to bond with the host body or accelerate the process. 3:12:00 I prefer to destroy Dr. Salvador's minecart as it is easter than killing him. IN addition, shooting the red barrel in the outside portion of the track I think hurts him, but I am not 100% on that. 3:36:55 You can get that nest earlier in Chapter 8 3:58:12 I like activating the lever and then rushing to the elevator that way the spiked ball crushes the red zealot and saves some ammo.
I thought the black liquid is mold, I think they mentioned in RE8 that Miranda had something to do with the events in RE4, maybe it helps for the long-range mind-control they we're about to do with Ashley...
21:31 You don’t have to kill the Garrador. One flash grenade to stun him is all you’ll need. Once he’s stunned, you can start using the crank. Even when he gets out of the stun, he’ll prioritize the noise where the flash grenade detonated rather than the crank noise. Of course, once the door’s open, you’ll need to move away and wait until he resumes a stealth status. This is important because when approaching the ladder, he’ll omnisciently know where you are and attack you, so you’ll need to hit his weakspot and stun him before climbing the ladder.
Carci's walkthroughs are very useful and entertaining. I completed RE7 and RE2R hard mode with minimum damage and wasted no extratime via his useful tricks. 😁
2:23:58 If you’re in front of the Garrador when he’s doing this combo, hitting his weakspot is easy after the last hit. It can help speed up the process in hitting his weakspot. 2:24:52 If the Garrador is in this walking animation, it means he has an idea of where you are and he’s being omniscient. Garradors become even more omniscient when they’re low on health.
CArci's right...i managed to get a lucky Seed and get the Striker charm and boy howdy is it HARD to go back to without. That 8% sounds 'minimal' but it has saved me countless times. Whichever 'genius' came up with the 'slow leon, hard to stagger ganados' dev needs to be fired, shit is not fun. Thanks for the hard work Carci! Much apprechiated!
Carci, thank you so much for these Resident Evil videos. I played through the original version, re5, resident evil village and now this one using your play through as a guide. It’s really made me enjoy these games.
Carci, you couldn't have publicly dropped this at a better time. Housework and laundry mean a full day to devote to this video. Great work, mate. Love your content!
I like what RE5 did where if you sell a gun, you get the ammo in it, Also they could make this so much more playable by just increasing leons speed by 5-10% and reducing the cross hair bloom time or by adding an accuracy upgrade to the guns. The game would still have issues yes, but it would be so much more playable than it is now
1:05:06 pretty sure you can duck under the scythe, I know crouching to avoid attacks can be unreliable in this game, but I have played through this section 8 times and crouching has always worked on this enemy since he has a set pattern
I'd like to say that I started enjoying your channel a lot more when you started focusing on walkthroughs instead of speed runs. I very much take my sweet time with video games and savour them, which is why I own so many and have completed so few. Nevertheless, watching other people take their time with games makes for much more agreeable content.
If you want to fight the garrador, I highly suggest to go with the bolt thrower and knife. Bolt thrower doesn’t aggro the garrador when you shoot and you can trigger him to hit the wall when you shoot it to attract him and then you go for the stab.
3:44:26 That's because you were aiming at the mask the cultist is wearing "over" his head. So no, the bullet didn't "miss for no reason", you did :). Notice when you lowered your aim it did register and counted as a critical hit ? Same thing for all the other cases in this video. Anyway, on to the Salazar boss. You already taught me quite a lot with that Krauser fight, I never would have figured out spamming parry actually working, let's see what I'll learn there !
2:20:43 The Twin Garrador fight is so incompetently assembled. Your only options are either a rocket launcher or spamming a total of 5 flash grenades on the two Garradors after exposing their weakspot with a gunshot. 3 flash grenades will kill the Armored Garrador, while the other Garrador will die in 2. In the latter case, the flash grenades will at least stun the enemies and the other Garrador. What an absolutely abysmal encounter. Too many enemies for no reason, the numerous AI problems with the Garradors, the lack of ammunition in this encounter, etc. The developers were drunk when designing this encounter.
It thankfully looks like the weak spot for the garrador is a little larger than the plaga on his back, because you definitely made a shot that hit just left of it. Small graces I suppose.
Carci! I know this game needs much more polishing but you are doing amazing! Thank you for putting so much work into this for us all, you are the best!!
Great job Carci! Please tell me you have a speedrun in the works, your speed runs and walkthroughs are always very entertaining and informative. Also I’m quite interested to see how you try to cheese the game back while constrained to speed
If i remember correctly he is done with this game after making whole No Damage walkthrough, cant remember correctly all the reasons but there is a vid about this on the channel.
Freaking love your vids, don't listen to haters, don't get discouraged, Watching you suffer while dealing with this game's horrendous design while playing on PRO made me feel a lot better about my personal experiences. For me, playing on the highest difficulty with no accessories or bonus weapons is a definitive experience of playing any game, and in Re4make it is a mess of frustration and misery. Still can't believe I bought the Deluxe Edition of this game at full price 😢😢😢
I did realize that Ashley talk to Leon more on the remake than on the original that what she just do is scream for help and bla bla bla lol And react more times than just use her hand to say - Yes or something like that.
The game annoys me much while I’m addicted to find a perfect solution for each fight. Lots of things are just totally random and stupid enemies don’t give a shit when you headshot them.
I'm starting to see why people compare Leon to a stumbling drunk in this game. I thought he didn't start heavy drinking till RE 7. Or was it 6? Either way, thank you for the video.
You know, I thought if anyone could figure out how to reliably backstab Garradors it'd be Carci. It really says something about their inconsistent AI that he doesn't even trust them to be in shotgunning distance.
A no damage professional S+ is possible because I saw a video of someone doing it so this is defiantly possible on professional S+ Edit: let me recorrect myself because there's 3 people who have S+ professional with no damage.
Agreed, the armies of fanboys and fangirls call Leon being slower and less nimble than a sack of potatoes "realism"/"horror". They havent played DS remake.
I don't undestand i thought you were done with with RE4? Not that i mind i love your walkthroughs but i must have misunderstood. Thanks for posting, you're a trooper
@@mercuryrising9758 He said that as part of the original commentary. In the intro before the run began he stated that he would not be doing S+ because he didn't enjoy the remake and wasn't going to force himself to do more.
... does anyone else think that Salazar's new design makes him look like a mutated version of Bea Arthur? No shade to Ms. Arthur, obviously, but still... I can't unsee it.
Salvador can be killed on the minecart segment, at least on Hardcore. Seems like his minecart has less HP than he does, but it's a pain juggling interrupts and shots to the cart.
I just Curious, Why Past Carci Saving 60 SMG Ammo?? Maybe i missing some explanation here. But still. I love all Your Resident Evil Run. Your Strats is Very Cool and Easy to Do.
loving your gameplay, and ignore the whiney buggers on here, its your game you play it as you want to play it, you have taken a lot of time on these videos, i love it 💯💯💯💯
i just finish professional mode ,all enemies killed and all task and request done . but it took 58 hours .wtf it rewarded me with hunk mask which gives aim assistance on all modes now .
