What are the other two you like? And wouldn’t the fact that it originally came out on ps2 and Dreamcast make the ps3,4,5 and Xbox copies all remakes of original material? Or do you simply mean a more polished version then what got recieved in this HD remake.
@@CarcinogenSDA it's tough when trying to beat the Normal level in that Biohazard game because Margaret and Jack put up a fight it takes a lot getting them down at low health I also enjoy Resident Village it's fun .
No idea why people don't like this game, maybe they are salty because they softlocked. Well, I'm one of those people who softlocked back when I got this game for Christmas 2000 on Dreamcast and I started another game and beat it lol. Still today Code Veronica X is Resident Evil I replay the most. Thanks for showcasing this game Carcinogen, and achieving the unbelievable no damage!! Game is awesome and has epic music (Ashford theme and Alexia's battle theme especially)
The final Wesker vs Chris cutscene in this game was actually 5 minutes long. Had it been 2 minutes longer it would have been a cool reference that CVX completers know once Wesker says that line in RE5.
Actually in this game you can headshot ennemies, when you aim for ennemy's head there is claire's arms animation and if you manage to shoot in between the animation it's a guaranteed head shot. Used to exploit this advantage when i used to play the game in dreamcast version
oh dang, I realized only now that Steve's remarks about his gun; "it's more reliable than any person." is the same line used by Claire in Revelations2 when she first gets the handgun.

Out of all the RE games with fixed camera, one of THE biggest gripes was off screen enemies and the auto aim DOES NOT register sometimes and would have to guess the location of where the enemies path is. Positive out of it is it makes you time the shots and where to stand after a couple of playthroughs, Negative is it makes you shoot blind hoping the auto aim locks on to target
How can we consider RE6's plot stupid or ridiculous when we have this glorious mess right here? RE has always been fun shlock, and it's kinda why we all love the series.
If this ever gets a remake they really need to give Steve a complete overhaul. He's one of the few characters whos death didn't bother me in the slightest.
Never played this game personally but seeing this walkthrough, how good for its times it was i think i understand why people want a remake of this so much. PS. That first shot at Alexia was so lucky it made me laugh.
At 2:15:33 cutscene, Claire's patience is MotherTerresa-level remarkable! If I was her, I would've slapped the s**t out of Steve like 'WTF HECK DID YOU DO MESSED UP BIG TIME YOU FABBLING FOOL!!!'. Even in time of crisis, nobody has the inner strength as much as she does, truly an admirable character she is.
Damn Carci, with uploading this video you reminded me of when I almost ended up in mental asylum trying to get A rank in Claire battle mode. I played PAL version, you probably know that, but for those who don't , PAL version runs slower then NTSC, but still has the same time requirements when it comes to ranks. Finishing the game with the highest rank is not so bad when you know where to go, but Claire A battle mode is different story. I finally did that but definitely my hardest Platinum of all RE series. Also the PS4 port is crap, it's not HD version from PS3, but the low res PS2 version. No matter, I still love this game and praying for the remake, but please Capcom, don't forget to implement the original soundtrack changing option, the best in the series!
I didn't know about how OP are the explosive bolt rounds, how to dodge certain hunters, the strategy for Nostradamus is awesome, and overall the ultimate cheat, the PINEAPPLE code. Excellent video man!!

So did these people make Dino Crisis too? Everything is exactly the same lol the look of it, the different camera angles, the sounds of the characters, sounds of walking, the music, the inventory, even the sounds in the inventory are exactly the same as Dino Crisis.
I find it hard to believe most people would prefer no comm over the comm version you provide such detail I could practically close my eyes and picture it in my head lol

This was the only resident evil game I wasn't able to beat as a kid ....my step dad taught me the first 3 well ....code v is a hole different monster....it took me till I was in high-school to figure some things out and even then online guides were in the wacky matrix picture art style ....looks cool ..how the heck do I read it though lol

Great video! Small side note; I think this is the only mainline game in the series where the dogs have a sleeping state/animation (observable by the player anyhow).

Wow, the electric evader just sat there and let you blast him like he was tired of existing on the X360 version. The filthy cod sucker wouldn't come near me when I had the flame rounds equipped on PS2. It took a few minutes for Gillberg to finish electrocuting nothing and circling around the arena before finally showing up at the Redfield Bar & Grill.
Wasn't expecting a Veronica run, but it's welcome all the same. I think the short is a good idea and looking forward to it, since I never noticed the dij stuff.
