They aren’t just plagas tho, he probably didn’t get their creation research or the shit that needed to make them. He’s just got the basic Plagas.

If they lean more towards horror with re5make like they did with re4make, they'll definitely benefit from use Verdugos, as they are one of the most terrifying enemies in the entire franchise!@@Kira22558

The verdugos aren't as cool as they were in the original where they can dodged bullets and run extremely fast

Another issue is the fact they are intelligent, they would go off to create their on little sub-groups and attempt to wrestle power from other Plagas leaders. The whole thing would be a cluster fuck

It also answered so many questions from the main story. The raiding of Luis's lab at the end, the explosives set all over the island, what happened to Salazars left hand( Black Robe) .

I thought IT in the original was fucking stupid. Really trying way too hard to be scary and it was just annoying. Pretty much my one complaint about the OG RE4 (well, that and the quick-time events). This IT is waaaay better.

@burtkocain6846 lol I agree with the og U3 having a lackluster design. Its face looked like those cannibal vampires from the Blade 2 movie. But I did like that boss fight, regardless.

@habeebo I kind of hated the boxcar escape right before the actual fight, so that might be throwing shit on what would be a rose-tinted lens. That and...I don't know, his face just pissed me off. Like "oh yeah, you're *soooo* scary". He was like the boss equivalent of an edge lord.

Yeah, they tied it together nicely :) Not fighting U3 was one of the big letdowns in the original remake of RE4.

The fate was heavily hinted at in the notes you find in the default game

I’d prefer to see Re9 or a remake of CV first to build up more hype for Re5 first. It’d help the newer fans get acquainted with who Wesker is before making you fight him.

Just because it has a nod to RE5, it doesn't mean that they will remake RE5. We don't even need a remake of RE5, there are other RE games that can be remade.

Regarding your hopes that the Uroboros Virus would be reimagined, this list below is how I always envisioned my own version of Uroboros: 1.) It would be stated to utilize genetic fragments from the T-Virus, G-Virus, Nemesis Parasite, and Veronica Virus all at once. That way, Uroboros can function as a payoff to Wesker acquiring all of Umbrella’s research for himself. 2.) Failed Uroboros hosts can still grow black tentacles, but that feature could be made more subtle, in favor of having them look more like T-Virus and G-Virus monsters. 3.) Most failed hosts will turn into “Uroboros Zombies”, which behave like a mixture of RE2/RE3 Remakes’ Pale Heads, RE4 Remake’s Regeneradores, and RE6’s C-Virus zombies. The easiest way to defeat them would be to uncover their orange “cores” and blast them. In a way, this would allow zombies to make a return in RE5 and once again be the major threat, with Wesker’s “complete global saturation” plan. 4.) Meanwhile, the Uroboros-based boss creatures can result from a rarer but still failed mutation, in which the G-Virus genes’ influence was strong enough to make them into much stronger and more malformed monsters. Their designs could incorporate some features of William Birkin’s transformations, mixed with the partially rotted look of a zombie. Finally, they could turn other people into Uroboros zombies by biting them. 5.) It would be explained that the orange “cores” and black tentacles result from the G-Virus and Nemesis Parasites’ combined genes. The Nemesis genes encoded the tentacles and backup brain matter, while the G-Virus genes enable hosts to spontaneously (re)grow those encoded organs and limbs from scratch. 6.) Wesker specifically chose the Nemesis parasite as a contributor, rather than Las Plagas, to prevent Uroboros B.O.W.s from being controllable by anyone with a Dominant Plaga. Also, any Majini that gets infected by Uroboros will simply collapse to the ground and behave like those Ganados did, after Saddler’s demise, due to the subordinate Plaga and Uroboros core being incompatible and fighting over the host’s “steering wheel”. 7.) Wesker also designed Uroboros to only be capable of mutating humans, while any wildlife exposed would be unaffected. In turn, the Reapers could be reimagined as human/bug hybrid B.O.W.s (like the Chimeras and Novistadors), which managed to become infected and enhanced by Uroboros, due to the human DNA incorporated. 8.) Wesker could infect himself with Uroboros much earlier on. During the initial fight against Wesker and the mind-controlled Jill, Wesker is shown to now be able to regenerate his body, perform greater feats of strength, and even shrug off headshots, due to Uroboros’ added abilities. Wesker does so, while maintaining his normal human appearance until the very end, by which point the accumulated damage and injection overdoses cause his body to become unstable. 9.) Near the end, Wesker’s final new ability is revealed to be influencing the lesser Uroboros mutants, in the same way that Alexia Ashford could control the ants and Veronica Plant. When Wesker demonstrates an ability to command Reapers, Uroboros zombies, etc., the choir from Alexia Ashford’s theme can be subtly heard, and this is revealed to be the reason why Uroboros has fragments of the Veronica Virus too.

I don't know about that. Leon had to kill more monsters, and obviously because Leon's gameplay is longer than Ada's. He fights 4 El Gigantes, Del Lago, Mendez, Verdugo, Salazar, Krauser, and fully powered Sadler.

There could be three reasons why at least in my humble opinion he didnt do everything himself: 1. He is a schemer and its within his charakter to use other people for gis gain. He even eludet to his mindset of "The strong will use/rule the weak". 2. He is strong but also there are beings that are on simmilar lvl of power to him. And propably encaunter with Alexia fight with Chris and with Siergiei in Ubrella russian headquartes taught him that he is needs to be more cautious. 3. He propably was on his own mission there like retriving Krausers body, more samples or planting the bombs. I hope i could help :)

It sounds so robotic and monotone..... there's no sass to her like in the original and it completely dulls her character....even in the base game I was genuinely irritated whenever she appeared and now in the dlc it's even more annoying....They should have picked a different voice actress or she should have been given more direction....I mean there's no one else who's having this much trouble with the voice acting, it's just her but other than that the dlc is great and the new monster designs are just chef's kiss

It’s the body of Krauser, as he had a control type Plaga inside of him. If you look closely you can make out his blonde hair and mutated arms.

The Black Robe was specifically tested on with the Amber, and the amber has the power to mutate even superior plagas, such as the one gigante becoming an invincible monster

I think (don't quote me on this) that you can read the doctor's notes prior to the fight in the original where the doctor used different methods to recreate the results.

U3 was a prototype created by Isidro, who later learned from his mistakes and turned himself into a perfected Verdugo.

I wanted the suspended platform section from the original to be in it. That was the most memorable part of the original U-3 fight for me.
