When you mentioned the length of the screw fouling the barrel it brought back a memory of when I serviced my first BFG pin pallet movement, I mistakenly got the yoke screw mixed up and put a screw in longer than what came out and this was making the barrel not release freely, it took me days trying to find out where the amplitude had gone, I must admit it really taught me a lesson about studying the screws more when disassembling.

Have a seven watch collection and have a version of the 2892-a2 in three of them. One watch I've had 24 another 20. The newest is a Co axial. They have been bullet proof, thank for the tour😊 movements are amazing little machines.

Some of the screw slots have burrs. Im guessing someone else had this watch apart? My OCD side would worry about those burrs lol!

Wow this seems like a tricky one. I have a 2892 in my Hublot MDM professional 300m.

Tanks for the great video @Watch Repair Channel I'm going to purchase an Omega Seamaster ref 2504.52.00 and thanks to this video i got a chance to see "what's under the hood". I wanted to ask a question: i see that there are some bridges or wheels that have very visible scratches, how did it happen? and how would've costed for the owner of the watch if he asked you to replace / erase the marks from all the scratched components in this movement? Thanks in advance

If you were building your own watch and had to choose between ETA and the coaxial 2500, which would you choose? Is the escapement worth the upgrade in your opinion?

About 7 months ago, I bought one of the Omega Aqua Terras, the Captain's Pick which has a 8500 in it. Very recently, I noticed something odd, say if I hold the watch flat, and shake it in an up and down motion gently, I can hear and feel something as if the movement is lose in the case. I don't really know too much about the structure of a watch and that is the best I can come up with to describe it. Would you be able to do the same test to your watch and see if there is such thing happening as well? With the direction I was shaking it, the rotor should not be in play, therefore I doubt it was from the rotor. Do you have any thoughts on this?

Sounds like what you're hearing is the rotor turning which is winding the watch

NukeProofSuit As I mentioned above, I shook the watch in such direction which is perpendicular to the rotor plane. Beside, you can't hear rotor turning and winding on 8500 movement anyway.

Sam Zhang OK, well like you said yourself maybe the movement is loose in the case

Why not use the brass tweezers for everything? If the steel can damage/scratch why use it at all?
