Your hair is beautiful and has blossomed. I have been locked for about 10 months. So,I can’t wait to have more length and seeing your journey is very encouraging. Thank you.

👋🏽Yes I definitely self retie, but not with the sisterlock tool they provided when I took the class, afraid I’ll get the tool caught in my hair. Lol I use it to retighten clients tho. Your hair looks good & healthy. That loc journal book you purchased is a good idea. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏽

My locs at the top is thin. I’m older so there was some thinking in the crown before I loc’d. My back is very lovely and thick. ❤️❤️

I believe your hair is the closest to mine in this journey. I’ve been locked 4 years and my crown is still thinner than the back. I’m using Rogaine and growth oils and hoping for progress. I get my locks retied every 7 weeks. I think though that your crown is a little fuller than mine, but still the closest. I will continue following your channel. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for watching. I’ll be posting soon about some hair loss I experienced in my crown. It’s tough but I think my hair is healthier than if I were to try any other style or method 👍🏾😊

I had a similar issue in the same are as you. My new loctician decided to make those bigger in September and the slippage has finally stopped around November. I have maybe one that slipped for this upcoming retightening, I am about to be 2 years in. I think depending on your texture and density in the area, smaller sometimes doesnt help even if it's in line with the sisterlocks system. I anticipate they will be stable by June.

That’s good to know. I’m glad your slippage is slowing up. The slippage has been the most frustrating part of my journey. 🤎❤️We both have to hang in there.

Your hair is so beautiful!! My hair in the very back or bottom 2-3 rows (3C) was much shorter than anywhere else prior to my establishment and are more further along in the locking process. The hair in crown is straighter and longer (3B) and is locking at a much slower rate. Since I have very dense hair with the average length of 18 inches at establishment, I don’t expect to be fully locked until it hit 2-2 1/2 years. I’m currently at almost 11 months locked.

Hello. I ran across your page, and thought of my hair journey. I have the same exact problem areas. I am trying to remember what my loctician told me, embrace the journey of a new way of life for our hair. Thank you for the positive information.
