Hello Gary. Sorry for the late response. For sure, the mounting base has to be ordered with the motor. Make sure you get the motor with the base. The base is roughly 6 inch wide and about 9 inch long. Not all will come with it. As for your boat, I can't see why it wouldn't. Ours is slightly less in weight and it does well. I still haven't tried it in bays and coastal waters were there's stronger current and tide. I've only had used it in freshwater. I like the 12volt due to less battery consumption. I really had thought of the 24volt but shaft is way too long.. Decided to get the 12volt instead. I hope you will enjoy your new motor. Thank you.

Hello Ben. Man I'm so excited for you.. I think you are going to really like it. The motor battery draw is amazingly low. Lower than other trolling motor of it's category. I run mine a full day on my deep cycle and does fine. Enjoy your trolling motor and we always appreciate your support. Thanks

Hello Paul W. Thank you so much for watching. Well it's hard to say.. The only trolling motor that I had to compair it with was the Minn Kota Edge.. I know that Haswing has a GPS Trolling motor but for the money you are getting a well built quality trolling motor.. My electrician was very surprise of the high quality components that it came with.. As for me and the use Im getting out if it, I couldn't be more happier. I really like it, so far so good.. Hello my brother.. it should be fine.. but also it depends on the type of waters you are going to use this motor . If it's areas like rough Bay Waters with strong currents and it's your primery motor for getting around maybe look into a stronger or different option..if you are just using a as a troller for fishing, then I will say yes.. thanks brother..

Ok great question.. The anchor mode which I believe it's call Spot Lock. That particular trolling motor does not have spot lock.. I also really like the spot lock feature and I can benefit from having it. This motor is only a remote controlled troller that also can be used in saltwater.. Two color to choose from and you can get a foot control for it.. that is all for this model.. for fishing it will do 3000 pounds.. The company does have other models with GPS, and stronger pound thrust. I think mine is a 55lb trust. my boat is a 16ft Center Console Bay Boat That is very close to the 3000 pounds or a little over 3000 lbs with use and gear and is has plenty of power to get us move in verious speeds. Hello Joe jones. Yes Sir, with the motor mount you are able to attach and dis attach the motor with nothing more than a pin. But of course when purchasing this motor you need to order it with the motor mount kit or buy separately. I believe without a motor mount the trolling motor can still be installed but it will be a permanent fixture with the motor to the bow of your boat. Hello .. Hope all is well on your neck of the woods. It's been about 6 months I haven't taken the smaller boat out but all is still working. Haven't had any issues with the remote control or the motor. Once I get the Scout back on the water I would like to use the motor in saltwater. That I still haven't done. Loll.. He is very good at what he does.. Him and his brother are great folks and they can figure ANYTHING out. I've seen it with my own eyes.. loll. The next best thing is their expertise captured on film while they tackle somewhat of a jigsaw puzzle on an installment. Loll.. Have faith . I guarantee you I didn't miss any fine and important details of the good, bad and ugly when it comes to the installments. Thanks, I appreciate that. Unfortunately no. You have to buy the male and female set up that goes with the motir. Part 1 of the video I went through that.. I had to chance my standard plugs. Apparently others found out that what they had on their boat wasn't compatible. I hope this helps.
