Hello Gus. Thank you for your input and testimony on your experience with the trolling motor. I too am going through the trial stages with mine. So far its been out a couple of dozen times on freshwater. Still working well.. When the time comes that it fails, then I will also come to a conclusion weather it's worth to invest again or just bite the bullet and invest into a more familiar name brand that can be warrantied and easier to get, like making a trip to the local Bass Pro Shops, but I am always willing to try something new and affordable. It's like my fishing gear. I gave a company called KastKing a chance. Their product are very affordable but I feared that affordability was going to result into just a cheap piece of un usable garbage, but I was very wrong and extremely surprised to come see how well built and great of a quality their rods, reels and fishing lines are. I never looked back and it has always been KastKing products for over 3 years.. So I was kinda hoping for the same with this brand.. The biggest difference is when you have a problem, you are always going to find someone knowledgeable and willing to help at a dial of a number with KastKing.. According to your experience, seems like you had to pull tooth and nails with this one.. They should had just sent you a whole new trolling motor and make it right just for ratings and keep a satisficed customer.. I guess I have gotten spoiled with KastKing, because that is what they do.. If it's broken and problem cant be fixed.. They just will send you a new one.. I hope your next Trolling Motor holds up better? Please keep me informed of your purchase and follow through with data.. I would love to know.. I will also do the same.. If problem starts to happen, I will be honest about it.. I hope they have upped their game because components they use is good and the motor looks amazing, but if longevity is not part of the deal, then it's not an option. Hello Wes. How are you. This trolling motor particularly is design for the bow. But I do believe they make a rear mount trolling motor.. then again, if you are really crafty, I'm sure it can be rigged to work on the transom. Loll.. thank you for your comment and support. Stay safe

Hello brother Michael! The connector is very important because it will not match with your existing plug. Go on Amazon or Ebay. Type on the search Hasswing Cayman trolling motor accessories.. You should be able to quickly find it there. Thanks 🙂

Hello summerlayton. thanks a tough one. I'm not too sure. I'm only familiar with the foot pedal that I us for that particular trolling motor. The one that I have for this motor it has a wired power plug to connect it to. I'm going to have to research it.. I didn't know they had a wireless foot pedal "which I think that's pretty cool" but I really have no knowledge as to the correction of your foot pedal failing to cink.

Hello Emmanuel.. Thank you for the comment. It should be fine. If I'm not mistaken these motor are rated up to an 18ft boat.. Mine is a 16ft.. In know being an inflatable probably has more drag but it shouldn't be an issue at all . Thank you.again.

Thank you so much. At my place Greece the internet store's and the dealers suggest this motor for max 15 feet. If that is true on my boat must work 100 percent of the power it has. This is why I'm worrying about heavy load. Thanks again.

That's the best way.. I know it seems overwhelming but that's why I hired the electricians to do the work.. My job was to make sure I didn't miss any details to record. It did come with a slight dificulties due to the poor instruction manual. But these two videos (part 1 and part 2) should be of good help when coming into installment issues with this motor... Once it's all installed and ready to go, pat yourself on your back for a good job done and enjoy the motor.

Hi Nick.. First we would like to thank you for watching and your support to our channel. Nick honestly, not yet.. It's charging well and it still working out on the water.. I too had read the same very thing and a couple of RU-vid videos mentioning that as well. That why I bought to kit with the foot controller. Because if the remote gives out their not other way of making it work untill you replace the remote.. I know they sell the remote separate. It's like 40 dollars. If I'm not mistaken, I believe they were the first batch of trolling motors that had been not reliable. I think they had up upgraded with better parts and hardware. Just like the mount that doesn't lock and some had issues of it unlocking if you fail to put the strap. The results of that were the trolling motor would disengage when boat was on plane and bouncing around without the strap that anchors the motor to the mount and keeps the shaft from dropping while the boat was on the move.. I've read many reviews of customers that ended up with bend shafts because of that.. I never had that issue. I've moved from spots to spots and forget to strap the motor to the mount.. I try to keep the strap on as much as I can but remembering how fast we were going on choppy conditions the trolling motor never disengaged. Maybe I was lucky or they fixed the problem. Either way I will not take the chance.. Loll. Thanks again for your support and comment.

At the end of the day almost everything is made in china I would rather pay a lot less get a few good years out of it and IF!!! it goes I'll just chuck it away and buy another one . But when you buy a way more expensive branded one you know the brand I'm talking about and if something breaks you won't Chuck it away because you paid a small fortune for it and that means you have to deal with the warenty or paying loads to fix it big head ace in my opinion.

@@nickmarangos2475 Nick I completely agree with you. Its almost the same thing with a company that makes fishing gear. I got tired of paying crazy amount of money form big name brand reels and not hold up.. I came across a company called KastKing. They too have very affordable fishing gear thats made over sea. Well I've been a big fan of the product and for almost 4 years now all I get is KastKing Gear. They are well built, great quality and very affordable.. The stuff they make is equal or even better than the big brand names for the price you pay. So im all for giving a small unknown oversea company that is providing a great product at an affordable price. I think you will be very impressed and satisfied with your purchase. Went to ace, got everything I needed, its on and works perfect, one last ? For you , how long should i charge the remote for? Cause the instructions on how to do everything was super explicit, lolol

@@michaelsawyer8313 good deal! Best thing to do for the first charge is to leaving it charging over night and throughout the next morning. But after that the remote has a charged light indecator. 😁👌

Hello. How all is well. . The motor mount is mounted of a 16ft Scout Sport fish. Motor still good.. My hopes for this year is to take it out on the saltwater flats for the first time and use it in some of my fish spots. But in the freshwater canals and the place we go we deal with strong currents. And it pulls just fine . Thanks for the comment.
