I'm glad you got away from those bugs, man they were bad. You know Bahia Honda Park looks like a nice place to camp. What I liked about it was, you could meet other boaters with common interest. You also had some privacy but the amenities needed to be comfortable. Just another trip I'm adding to my bucket list. Your videos this past couple of years has made that list rather long, THANKS !
My brother! How are you. Always so good to hear from you. Yes, it's one of the State Parks in the lower Keys that has a lot to offer. The beaches there are like non other. I hope you guys are well? Miss ya, big hugs my brother Henry! God's blessings to both and your family. ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
hI recently installed a Good old engine a yamaha ox66 250 2 stroke will 120psi compression, the tach has been doing weird, at full throttle the rpm shows 9500 rpm and trim always stays full on gauge and doesnt change when i lower or raise the trim. Do you know may maybe the problem ?
My sister! How are you. Thank you so much for your support. I always enjoy seeing your outing at EKey, You guys are just about there every weekend. That's so awesome. Maybe one day we could show up and would like for you to show me around the sandbar and meet your friends and interview you. Big hugs and blessings
@@2BearsOutdoors shiii ❤️ thank you 🥰love your channel ❤️it will be my pleasure to introduce you to all my sandbar family 🥰sounds like a plan let me know when you are coming to visit 🥰 see you July 27th ❤️🥰🎉👙🍹
Just the video I've been looking for! I have a similar AC unit that I power with a big power bank, but I really like how you ran your hose behind that cup holder cut out. My boat is so very similar. The ridgid fan I great idea! Now I have to check if I have space to runy hose into that compartment!
Thank you so much brother. The great extent of making things work when you have very little space, all for the sake of overnight comfort in a little boat. Loll. We truly appreciate your comment. What are you running now? The Ridgid fans a awesome, it's a mini hurricane in your cabin when that fan gets turned on. Extra batteries and run them on high, t will run for 4 to 5 hours. We have the smaller 3v batteries. But theirs larger battery for that Rigid that will run over 8 hours. Now when I run them on low setting they will run about 8 hours. Brother please keep me up dated on your set up. Let me know how it worked out for you. Many blessings brother and thanks for your support. 😊👍
@@2BearsOutdoors we have a 2003 Hydra sports walkaround so my boat design is VERY similar. I have an EnjoyCool AC unit that we used on the boat 1 night last month and it really didn't get the job done. I had the unit outside and plumbed the hose through the window and only a small little fan to move the air around. I literally have my AC unit set up in my boat right now while on the trailer for me to test different locations of where to put the unit. I'm going to try what you guys did. Oh, I even have the rigid fan to add to my set up like you did! Hoping to get out Saturday night.
@@pweaver8839 Ok wow! Hydra Sport Walk around are great boats. You are spot on, the layout of our boats are very similar. I hope it works out for you, once your are able to have the AC hose behind the Rigid fan, you will feel the cool AC air hitting you. Good luck with everything. Once you've tried it, let me know. Blessing my brother.
Hey Guss, we made it back to Indiana, sure missing south Florida. Thanks so much for the laughs, conversations we had at Bahia Honda, as well as the new friendship, you all are awesome, hope to see you soon again, Jeff and Danita
OMG! Glad y'all made it safe. It was just a blessing meeting you and Jeff. I'm working on the Bahia Honda video. We have some special guests. Wink, wink, 😉.. loll. If God's willing we will meet again. Big hugs to ya both. ❤️😊👍
My brother, love hanging out with you guys. Y'all are good people. Thank you for the kind comment. I'm looking so forward to see the video. Big hugs guys
Loll. My brother, they are a lot of fun but also great to transport to your boat. Unload fish from your fish box and put in the rolling cooler and wheel all your catch it on shot to fillet table or vehicle. Thanks my brother for watching.
My brother! How are you? Loll, that would had been a great moment to capture on film and sure to be entertaining. 😂😂 Thank you so much and stay safe as well. Many blessings 😊👍
Enjoyed your video. We have some of the same considerations as you. Have you had a chance to use the unit in any "real world" situations yet? I'm very interested to learn more about your experiences with it. Thanks
Brother Thomas hello. How are you? As a matter of fact we did. We spent 7 days out on the water in blazing South FL Heat. Loll. We just came back from that trip. I am going to do a follow up video soon on installation and how the unit performed for us. A spoiler alert, it did well. Not freezing cold in the cabin but way better then we ever experienced on summer months in our cabin. Most importantly, our pups were not hot or panting at night. That speaks in high volume considering they are they first to roast in the cabin with their fur coats. I will get to that video ASAP. Thank you so much for your support, we always appreciate it. Blessings to ya brother.
they did the scout too? How has it held up? Also how is the scout compared to a gheenoe? Just sold ours after almost getting swamped on crossing from nest key to key largo 😂👀
@@MikeVickinabox oh boy! Glad it didn't swamped your boat. I'm a big fan gheenoes. But yeah Scout for rougher waters 100%. No the Scout was done in Hollywood FL, Signs Solution . That wrap is holding up well. 😁👍
Gus, I can't remember seeing two back to back videos that showed in detail the operation and handiness of two great products. It want be long before Jeff Bezos will be calling you for your marketing advice. You and K Bear are an amazing couple. Keep the videos coming. Love you guys.
Brother Henry!!! How are you and your darling wife... Hope all is well? Thank you so much for the kind words. We always appreciate and feel very grateful for your friendship. I'm not holding my breath in Jeff Bezos. Loll 😂 my brother, y'all are amazing folks in ur book as well. God's blessings to you all and in everything that you do. Big hugs
Brother great video! Great item to have on a boat...cold drinks are always welcome on a boat, especially in Summer. Loved it❤ Blessings! Peace from the Keys!
My brother, it's a game changer. I put 17 bottles of water. Froze all bottles. You can set the freezer down to minus four. You have options to make combo fridge and freezer or both freezer or both fridge. That's the smallest one in that model, they have larger ones that also take cordless power tools batteries as another option to charging and running the unit. I'm looking into that one for boating, emergency, power outages. I put the company's website and Amazon link to that particular cooler on the description below. Big hugs brother.
Thank you brother. I went ahead and put the company's website. I was really impressed with the large selection. Also put Amazon link to that cooler. Thanks again
I have a 600 gallon pond habitat for my snapping turtle. One of the fish I caught in the ditch by my house was a Mayan cichlid. It hangs out in the turtle cave with a 30 pound Female snapper. The fish is about 9 inches. They just chill. I've seen the cichlid eating off the turtle's shell and eating dead skin when she's shed's .
Hey Rusty. That's pretty cool. Are they Alligator or Comon Snapping Turtle. My favorites, I've had them for pets. Thank you for sharing that with me. Stay well and many blessings.
Have you tried having the unit in the cabin and ducting the warm air out? It seems that the unit would cool faster by pulling in the slowly cooling air in the cabin vs the always warm air on the outside.
Hello Robert. Thanks for the comment We did try the unit in the cabin with exhaust going out. With the cabin being so steamlngly humid, it to very long to start cooling because it was working of pulling all the humidity out. Since we are realiing more on the battery to power the unit, we need the AC to start cooling quickly. We will be making another video soon on installation and do some off grid boating with the unit. Lets see what happens. Thank you for commenting.
@@2BearsOutdoors love seeing your videos and i agree with the gentleman's comment of having the unit inside the cabin. The principals of an AC system is to relocate the hot air outside just as in a home the evaporator is inside the house and condenser outside the house. Great videos. Keep it up bears 🐻🐻
@@estebanperez5768hello brother EstebanPerez. Sorry for the late response, I'm just seeing your comment. Thank you so much for you support and watching our content, we truly appreciate you. I most definitely agree with you. We did try the inside of the cabin, but the unit takes up most of the area where we place power bank and fan. We just came back from a long boat trip and really used the AC unit. I will be making another video on installation and performance of the unit and how it worked for us. My brother, many blessings to you and your family. Thanks again.
Hey brother how are you. Yeah you are right, unfortunately that was the only spot I was able to put it and not be in the way of there contraption on the boat. Loll. Thanks
Did you set the D I P switches the same as the old switches? I had to replace mine and having issues with a few things, tilt and trim gauge being one of them.
