Welcome back everyone! In this video we finally get the bed completely bolted together and set into place on the back of the truck! How the hell am I soaking wet but Dave isn't?!?! We are getting there..... with a lot more to do!!!! Next up, bed mounts!

Tons of work.... but most of it is self inflicted :) Normally you wouldn't need to shorten the bed, or modify the suspension :) I just like to be different I guess :)

@@digitalgavakie If you went with the Code 504 kit like I did, everything is "meant" to be bolt on.... You would need a cut off wheel, grinding wheel, and ability to drill holes.... If the truck was in good shape, that's all you would really need.

I know you probably won’t see this for a while I have been watching all of your video on this build and plan on watching them all. In one video you were talking about 108 and 118 frame. Could you explain what that means to me. I have been think for a long time.

Hi Brandon! I believe what I was talking about at the time were the different wheelbases for the different S10s. A "short bed" wheelbase is 108.30 inches. A "Long bed" wheelbase is 117.9 inches. To do a "proper" conversion, you need to use the long bed frame. I'm using a short bed frame, so my wheel base is actually less than a factory Chevy 3100.... that is why I shortened the bed about 10 inches :) Hope that helps!

Hola llo estoy asiendo lo mismo use un chasis de s10 short bed regular cab pero la caja la deje mas larga por que cuando le ponga air bag boy a sentrar los rear fenders con los rines sentiré los rines de enfrente estas asiendo muy buen travajo

You, obviously aren't aware of why you moved down there. As Uncle Andy Cuomo tells everybody, people are moving out of New York State "because of the weather". Once you move, you can only grin and bear your own weather, lower taxes, less government interference, etc.

Emperor Cuomo is driving people out of NY at a record pace! Weather sure was a factor.... but everything else you mentioned was probably more important :) I'll take random / rare hurricane / tornado over months of snow any day :)
