Same here!!! Started noticing red flags 2 months after our wedding so thanks be to God that I never shared a bank account with him. We opened a joint acct for the sole purpose of depositing the checks we received from our wedding and once that was gone, I closed the account.
This is much needed because you really have to be strategically meticulous about your exit plan with them. You are so right! They always tell on themselves and will eventually put it in to action, which is why you should pay attention to their words.

I just want to say THANK YOU! I stumbled across this channel and took a deep dive down the rabbit hole of your content and every video left me feeling more and more validated and empowered to do what I didn’t want to do but NEEDED to do. I’ve been married for 8 years and he and I share two boys together (age 6&1). He overlaps in his type of narcissism so can’t pinpoint exactly one type. Anyways. I left yesterday. Although the new journey with these two young boys is JUST beginning-I already feel soooo much better!!!! I actually had to watch your videos in ‘incognito mode’ so it wouldn’t trigger my algorithm publicly. Was literally living a double life. To the next person that may see this: Take Genie’s advice. Get your plan together. Stack some money. Every little bit adds up. And BUILD THAT COMMUNITY. They were VITAL in helping me get out. And your relationship with God HAS to be at the center so that you know you’re making moves in the right direction!! Your future is so bright ladies!! 🤓🤓
