Whitepointer's are not in the same class as the 233 travelling from A to B. But they are the perfect alrounder as being a lot more stable at rest.

Look for a old albemarle 24. You can find them for a really good price. Some under 5,000 bucks. Its basically the same exact design and the hulls of the 24 albemarle is well over 1" think. I think mine measured 1 3/8 when I put in a transducer. They are set up for inboard outboard combo but you can always take it out and build a deck with storage where the engine box was and but a bracket on the back with a pair of 150s. 150s would be plenty to shove this boat around good. I think you could honestly get away with a pair of 125 to 140s
