Hey Rap, what would cause my kicker to slip one tooth, almost every time when I jump down on it. Some insight would be useful before I begin to tear it down. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, it’s much appreciated.👍
Thanks for the reply - it’s been like that since new, so I suspect the kicker gear needs aligning so the face teeth on the mainshaft gear mesh better with those of the starter gear?@@Rapsgarage

Loosened the cover bolts, cranked the arm over a couple of times then torqued the cover bolts down whilst the arm was half way through the motion. Seems like it was just an alignment issue (aftermarket unit) but appreciate the offer all the same. Keep up the good work.@@Rapsgarage
