Let me know your thoughts. Would you send your Panhead engine parts to Dragonman's? Would you send your Knuckle Head, Shovel Head or Evo parts to him? I've never watched any of the gun videos, only a the Harley videos.
Thank you Rap for this video. I was thinking about sending my panhead cases to Dragon man , when you watch the videos you think he's the man .looking into it I've found 50% good and 50% bad .it's easy to be seduced by the low price I am now taking it to a reputable shop up north 6 hours away and 3 or 4 times more expensive , so again thanks for validating my decision .
My God! My thoughts are that the things you are pointing out should be painfully obvious to someone who has never worked on an engine in their life. Wouldn't anyone think "hey, I better clean that crap outta there before I try and put this tight fitting part in". Keep up the great videos man. Cheers from Australia.

I'm 58, I ve known of Dragonman for decades. I fondly remember the ads in Easyrider. I never had the money to send him parts. Few of my friends did. His work was hideous. Some have had success with him I guess. I never heard anything good from his work.. I will give his videos a good review. Being young, wanting to learn to build engines, his videos were very helpful. It was just basic engine building. No RU-vid back then. I truly don't understand why people keep sending him parts, I don't understand how he is still in business. Thanks for the video
Wow, you just saved me some money and heartache. My granddaughter lives in Colorado and I was going to take my shovelhead heads to him and drop them off while I visited the kids. This is so obviously wrong. Wow I watched maybe four or five of his videos and thought he could do the work. But this video has changed my mind. The last shop I had work on them messed them up, now I have to get them repaired. If anyone knows of a good machine shop anywhere in the Midwest, please reach out. Thanks again for this video.
As a time-served toolmaker with forty years experience, that there is what we call a ‘bodger’ here in the UK. Sadly some people have little or no pride in their work but are happy to take folks hard-earned cash. 😕
Will N ot use Dragonlance. Heat and cold shrinking is the o ly way. Build British Bike engines always suggested using heat to install bushings and bearings.
Even in my automobile I try and do all my own work you know it was always kind of a crapshoot before and now it's like well good luck.. and more good luck you're going to need it I don't care where you take your stuff anymore either they charge an arm and a leg or they just don't do it.. Rite..
I just had to have a set of Panhead seats replaced. The guy I used explained how it’s done properly and what you see in DM video is wrong. BTW the interface fit should be .007 inches not .004 as I stated.
Well there's someone I know that I follow on RU-vid and he sent his stuff to dragon man and he had to redo it.. it was something to do with the valves and the heads and it was an evolution motor.. so why are you trying to do all my own stuff if all possible

With purely curiosity and an absolute need for honesty, seems a bit more like a demo video from the countless videos I’ve seen he’s never on camera worked on a customers part, often he says how busy he is and makes short as possible as informative videos to get back at it. And the issue your buddy has, DM even has a video explain what the customer may have done wrong with the misinformation the client was given from elsewhere that could cause damage and just how severe it is… also whyyyyyyyy wait sooooo long if this friend had an issue years ago why not “warn” folks immediately?? And if DM is such a hack how can he guarantee his work… I want to know exactly how your buddies issue was resolved? What’s the other shop say was the cause? And ya might reaaaaallly start checking your “facts” with facts before ya start giving a man’s personal history… oh but you must know him well to so bodily “state” information. Really seems like everyone in the comments has a personal experience or knows someone with a personal experience to all jump on your boat. Right these decisions are all being made based on either facts or personal experience with DM correct?? And my guy… don’t act like you are sharing and reacting to protect people…. Again weird it’s taken so long to speak up and if you didn’t make this just to get subscribers why didn’t you reach out to DM yourself ask about the video and given him your expertise on proper machining and made that video to protect people? Or are you just trying to get more business…. Cuz I’ve noticed you only keep the comments that go in your favor there’s not a single opposing view point and not a damn single viewer has shared their negative experience with DM…. No one has pictures or videos or repair quotes or their side of DM mishap. I am legitimately asking all of this because I’m not saying you’re wrong but you sure seem to leave a lot out. I don’t know shit about bikes nor machining so I’d never claim to know any facts about either matters however when looking into sending parts in for someone who’s prize possession is their bike… majority of negative reviews on DM are either smaller shops who want more business or customers who thought they were experts and decided not to follow instructions/advice on reassembly. I hope this reaction video was done purely with good intentions and I’m sure you’ll have no issue NOT deleting my comment and answering all my questions… I know some sound extra snarky but I’m honestly just looking for all the facts, information because if this is to help folks out some of your missing comments may have been pondering all sides as I have been. Not at all saying DM should send a head out with chips in it and I’m sure you can provide proof on this is not just a demo video and this is in fact how he sends his work out cuz good god he must pay off every disgruntled customer cuz how the hell could he possibly still be in business?!?! Maybe try actually educating folks without involving another’s content. Could have just been a clip you’d seen, zoomed in and told specifically what to look for and what it should look like when you open you parts. Not sorry, but I will wrap up because clearly I can go on and on and oofta I’ve got a book of questions for all parties. Educate me don’t belittle me, I’m not advocating for one or the other I am advocating for complete transparency and honesty cuz I am in fact not an expert. Hope to wake up to education and not a notification that leads to your response only to find you’ve deleted it cuz it is weird that not a single person has questions or personal facts to contribute. I don't know where to begin with this but I'll keep it short. I just started my channel a few years ago so that's why I didn't posted it sooner. As for when my friend had the problem, I don't think RU-vid was around then. I think the video that DM posted speaks for itself. As you stated " I don’t know shit about bikes nor machining" and I would agree because if you can defend the DM video, that he put out on RU-vid, it speaks to your knowledge. I post plenty of help videos and this was the first reaction video I've done. I will be posting more of them in the future so stick around for them.
