Part 4:- VW Transporter T4 Restoration. How to; Front end removal 

I replaced the front cross member on mine due to bad corrosion, I kept the radiator in situ when I did it though,, was a pain to get the replacement back in on my own and I also dropped it on my foot while balancing it in there before I bolted it. Also replaced all the plastic rivets, Great work bro

Loving the Videos so far, I've got a 1.9 TD swb Indian Blue just like yours, each time i clean it the rust on the arches really disheartens me but i know its all a work in progress and will eventually get new arches, sills and paint etc. From the looks of it you have loads more to do than me, i just need to crack on! What is the end goal for yours? just to bring it back to life and keep standard or convert it eventually etc?

Your paint is dull but a polish might do it some justice. It will never be as good as it was unless you respray it but it will make it look a whole lot better I did mine and it looks pretty good

Thanks for your video do you think the crossmember can be removed and leave the radiator in place ? as mine needs some welding on it but it would be easier to weld it up off the van thanks
