Having restored a '69 Camaro I can testify that first gen Camaros were heavily compromised from the factory to cut cost, the greatest flaw being the cowl to front axle length. It's two inches too short. They corrected this with the second gen making the '70 1/2 Z/28 one of the finest, best handling, most balanced cars of that era. The full frame chassis kit available today for first gen Camaros is awesome!😎
Upgraded to the Fox Shocks from Afco. Should be everything you'd want, much better way to go than upgraded front and rear clips. I already did that several times.
same here ..I want one for my 1979 Trans Am..I am just not a fan of the ford 9 inch ...I asked them if they can make one with a 12 bolt instead of that power robbing 9 inch ..they said no....so I am deciding between a Heidts front end and IRS rear ...or some combination a front end from Detroit Speed with their 4 link and a 12 bolt ...
