Drove a kyosho turbo burns with $6 k invested in it...and now my kids are older now and interested in the hobby and your videos on the Losi Monster XL made me decide to take the plunge and buy one. Love your posts bro. I have so many questions for you, I dont know where to start. But I get my baby on Friday. I ordered the walbro fuel filter you suggested and I picked up new fuel line also. I ordered blue locktight. Eight 12×24×6mm ball bearings also for the hubs until I can swing some new goodies in blue! I also got the losi servo saver that someone else suggested. I want to do my front end and rear once I catch up a little and I'd like to know all the part numbers you used if you still know them. As most seems to be listed and work from the DBXL and the Desert XL or the 5ive. I'd love to catch up one day and ask a few questions once I get my truck. I'm picking up my fuel at Home Depot. hi mate i been watching your channel for a few mouth now i have a losi 3.0 truggy the kit and its already together brand new never been run or had a nitro motor in it [yet] i would change a nitro to brushless but after watching your channel i will be making it a nitro i have a lot of brushless rc this will be my first nitro i thank you for making me a nitro fan mate

CustomMade75 as of now I like both but I dumped a ton of money into my LOSI 5T for the second time because 7 years ago I hooked it up for racing only and now I hooked it up for a Chrome shelf queen 👸🏻 but I may still run it but I won’t bash it. I also must say so far I like my X2 Roller it’s my first and I’m really happy with price and the amount of goodies that comes with the truck. So it was a no brainer and I had to get it and try it out for first time. I never used it yet but I will soon. Only then I can give you my honest opinion

Hey John I have a problem on my baja where my tires keep on ripping at the beed I'm not abusing them and I always seat the tires on the beed properly. I've gone through 3 sets and it's so annoying and expensive. Very nice vid by the way.
Karrie Bhurgari are you running Beadlocks ? If yes ? Is every screw hole have a screw and is snug? If you don’t have bead locks and your running cheaper tires glued to rim stop! Get rims with bead locks. Make sure there on the beads good and your running a stiffer tire foam also! You should be fine after that.

You can use the stock ones if you want to there good and also Team Fast Eddy are great 👍 and Full Force is also good ! They are great to use and have in stock in hand ready to use at any moment if needed
Hi mate I got my self a Esp race ported head for my G320RC do you think I can run a rooster tail full mod 990 with that set up or should I just run a stock 1107 or stock 990 ????
Definitely a normal 990 and the 1107 will work no problems and the rooster tail 990 should be fine on a full mod 32 but I’m not sure about a race ported style engine? I used it on a drag mod on nice and it ran it worked but it acted funny it was not consistent and start ups were also a pain in the ass once in awhile and the other thing was i went threw lots of spark plugs but on my cousins RCMAX 46 engine it’s perfect no issues.
Mr. Sideways don’t know bro , to be honest I like both!! If you do heavy bashing and drive into ditches and want to drive out I highly recommend the LOSI MTXL!! You will need little upgrades to make it a durable as hell RC if you keep stock motor or even go with a ReedCase 34 like what I have at the moment but will be changing soon. Then I would say probably a 5T next because it’s a platform that is great for almost everything and you can turn it into what ever you want? I have seen speed run cars to MTs custom made from that platform. I also like the DBXL I’ve had one for a couple years and wished I still had it today. It’s the smaller one out of those 2 and the lightest but if you start putting big engines on it ? You will need to upgrade a lot of things and they don’t handle like a 5T or a MTXL especially with a over powered motor. I think the DBXL is the most fun with a 29 cc motor or a motor that has higher revs then HP with a good intake and carb then if you upgrade the servos and stiffer springs or a set of 4 rear Losi 5T shocks all the way around on a DBXL it will handle and feel more like a 1/8 scale and that will feel unbelievable trust me. I used to drive mine in tight areas with all my buddies were driving there 1/8scales .
