I realized that I never saw this first part of your Series! John, bro.... the first 15 seconds REALLY made me MISS my FXR Superglide. 😖😭😭 That X2 Roller MIGHT make me rethink my entry into the Brrrrraaaappp Brotherhood..... I would then need TWICE as much money than a Baja - but get SO MUCH MORE!!! 👍👍 That may have to wait for my Inheritance.... and HOPE Dan still carries them. The amount of extra GOODIES makes it worth it. The Clear Body, for me, is a Bonus. I PAINT my own shit. The thought of being stuck with a BIG painted Body, that I don't want, just sickens me! No it still comes with there 34cc . KM 34 is really a 30.5 with a Over bored cylinder and it comes with small crack bearings and most have a defective stuffed crank. Your better off with a Roller then install a Rovan 32 or a 36cc! Or even a Rovan 45? Or a super reliable Zenoah G320 or a Bartolone Engine or a OBR the list goes on
hey brother, i really want to get that roller now that I've gotten my feet wet with the rovan 360sc, all modded with the class one cage and aluminum pull start... lol but i gotta w8 it outd for a bit, at least till i go back to work...but you think they'll keep making these things for years to come? Im really lovin the fif scale scene, i just hope the support will be there from places like ROVAN and KM, for the friggn' good deals and ease of access! hopefully there'll always be ddm and places like that too, what do you think? how do you see this hobby progressing?

I am planning on going through My Rovan Baja Terminator truck, and my Rovan LT450 before I run them. Do you feel it is necessary to to go into the diffs to change the fluids from the factory? No racing, just off road use for now.

The cheapest and very notable upgrade to do if your bashing all the time in all terrains not racing at a track is to thicken the diff oils 500,000 or 800,000 on the center diff is awesome and 100,000 or 200,000 for the front and rear diffs are a must! It’s up to you. If you can do the job ? Do it ! If not don’t sweat it and just break her in so you can get out there to bash

Also, I have been watching a ton of your videos trying to learn as much as I can about the 1/5 scale cars. I watched your 3 part series for engine break in, and they have so much more detail that what the instructions would say to do. Very good videos, with good explanations of why things are being done. I just found the dynamite stand at my somewhat local hobby shop....last one they had.....I still haven’t bought a 1/5 scale yet but that is in the works.....wanted to make sure I had the stand first so I’m able to work on it......this is gonna be my first 1/5 scale, what do you recommend the losi mtxl or the losi 5t? John it is a great deal for anyone getting into 1/5 scale that can't afford a LOSI 5T or to build a custom rig as I like working on them as much as driving them but i bought the same roller and the shock towers are complete shit the stock LOSI 5T shock towers are way stronger. One roll over and I bent the KM towers bad and to date never bent a losi one. But i did bend my LOSI 5T Chassis lol. Hard hit direct into a curb. The front chassis brace you will notice there is no notch its just supported by the bolt. Its crazy I replaced 90% of the parts with stock LOSI 5T parts. And I see you found out how weak the bolts are. Lol. I replaced everyone with stock LOSI 5T bolts also the shock ends are molded to the shafts you can't replace them. The center diff mount I threw it right in the garbage mine was so sloppy I couldn't believe it. I'm not knocking it as I have one myself just a heads up. My diffs sounded and felt like there were rocks and dirt inside them. The body is made by 30N and is thicker than the Stock 5T body which I like for bashing. The tires hold up very well and work good. I know you are going to go through it and build it up just wanted to share what i found with mine. Maybe mine was built on a Friday or a Monday. Lol With all that said I can't wait to see that skopod engine on that bad boy. From all the parts I replaced on mine I'm building a custom KM X2 5T snow plow truck just for the hell of it. I will post a video on my channel when Im done with it. Braapp

As of now I have to be honest and I like what I see so far except for bearings and soon we will see how good this upgraded KM X2 roller in stock form right out the box really is! Let see how it can handle a 62 cc SkoPod engine and if it can Bash. If it sucks ? I will tell everyone my honest opinion with No Bull Shit or slow motions or music video! It will be real! If it's good and can take a beating ? I will definitely say it's good! Right now before even driving it the price was good as hell way better the what my 5T was and as of now I don't have to spend much on it because it has all the upgraded parts I had to get for my 5T and what my friend Gary will have to spend on his now! Gary had no idea that this X2 is this good from the looks right out the box until I Unboxed it and also my friend Carlos RTR X2 as well.
I love this thing because it came with already lots of aluminum upgrades in it and I get to choose the engine and servos I want to use in it. They call this the Deluxe Roller fro King Motors and they call this model the X2 . But if you are new to this and not familiar yet ? You should get something RTR because they come with Engines and servos ready to go out the box . You just got to go over it and loctite everything that’s metal to metal because things will get loose . Rovan uses great engines and they make a model similar to this X2 and it’s called LT . My friend runs a Rovan LT 320 but it comes with lots of plastic not as much aluminum like my X2 but it’s still very durable. There is also a LT 360 and a LT 450 and they come with bigger engines So you must decide what you want to do I can only help and give you my honest opinion because I have worked on all of them and I even own some . If your a wrenched 🔧 ? I say go roller but if you are just starting out? Go RTR

It slows me down but I feel like I have to help others the best I could so we don't loose anymore people to the Gas ⛽️ and Nitro RC Hobby!! To much fake shit out there now and it makes me sick!! Things are starting to become less and less mechanical and less and less people especially the newer generation knowing how to use hand tools or even owning tools nowadays!! That's pretty Fn sad !! The future don't look bright at all but maybe there's hope? Kids this days quite to easy and give up on many things in life in general. If you want a idea for a stand, i found a way to do it on the budget. I found a office chair down the road, took off the chair part so i just had the plate / shaft and bottom part of the chair, Cut some pipe to the desired height that i wanted and put the chair shaft in 1 end the the other end into the base where the wheels are. Works great, i can move it up and down and spins....... Ill make a plat underneath to hold tools and bit and pieces when i'm working. Hope it help, saves you a couple of hundred.

Hey bro You posted a video with a buddy of yours that looks like this same kit. It was black and white. Yours has no motor or radio/servos/receiver and his did. Is this a different kit? Big Daddys NJ RC 🤝 yes that was a RTR King Motor X2 Deluxe and mine is a X2 Roller Deluxe version. That means mine came with many goodies except with Engine and electronics. I can choose and use electronics that I like and prefer and Engine I want to use and my friends RTR Version comes with a pretty good 34 cc engine but you will have to replace and upgrade the Coil and fuel system and it comes with red aluminum upgrades the roller like mine comes with Blue aluminum upgrades hope that helps
