As a high school counselor I spoke to our sophomore health class about eating disorders. I used this video, among others, to demonstrate the impact eating disorders can have on those who have incredible dedication and work ethic and unhealthy relationships with food. Thank you so much for sharing this.

This is exactly my story. Anorexia basically screwed my Junior year of high school, my health, sports, friends, family, mental health, everything. Straight A student to C. My journey has been the same: running because I was overweight, eating restriction because of running, then treatment which was horrible to say the least, then started binge eating, then restrict again...and I am there right now. I still cant eat without feeling bloated and the worst part is my doctors made me quit the 2 things I liked to do - badminton and running. I have not done either in a while...so now end of junior year I find myself still throwing again my lunch at school, hating myself, unable to focus, without running or badmenton, just lost. Unlike Matt though, I cant find a way out at the moment. And I just dont have the strength or motivation to start exercise again...just cant help but think that everything is ruined.
