The extras of religion may be needed to maintain and spread the basics. Culture is a chef salad to pick from, rather than a melting pot to get lost in, if we see it as a tool like a mystic does. The material world will become easier and those outside our community will se our distinct value as a community of faith.
God Said to not be divided in sects . I don't understand why is this necessity of being better than other human beings .. Before I believed , I never understatood why religious people feels like they need to express their faith with clothing and head covers . I have always believed in the message of Isa( AS) , he was my good example , and through the whole bible , the only people who paid much attention for clothing and etiquette , were the mushiriks. Truth faith is really inside of the heart .

Yes my fellow sister, you may feel you are correct, that is up to you. But, if your god loves me then you shouldn't be worried about us at all. It's all about love, isn't it? Let's love each other like how y'all believe Jesus did. Did Jesus not also love the lesbians? Do they not deserve love? If you can't answer this question, I suggest you preach your Christianity elsewhere.
you can express your opinions but why implemented to others what is right or wrong for them to do, there was only one sect one religion until the death of prophets PBUH but sadly Islam was hijacked in SAQIFA prophet and his family didn't divide it was divided by the politicians who were called his companions read Islamic history
