I encourage you to visit Karbala this year and go for Arbaeen e Imam Hussain A.S and do Mashi that is a spiritual walk from Najaf to Karbala which can take 3 to maximum 5 days,many groups go to Iraq during this time of the year to earn sawaab and experience the spirituality,surely enough these friends of yours can guide you if any group is going from Canada next month to Iraq,if you want to then you'll have to search now and enter your name by this week

Shias believe that prophet Muhammad and imams are very special to Allah and of course even Sunnis believe that the prophet is better than all subjects of Allah. when the prophet was still alive muslims while praying and saying dua to Allah would then go to the prophet and asked him to pray for them. Was it shirk? No since the prophet is very dear to Allah, if he says dua for you then there is very high chance that Allah solves your problem much faster. This is called Tawasol in Arabic I believe. They have false beliefs, such as their regarding Abu Bakr, Umar and most of the Sahaabah (Companions of the Prophet) as kaafirs (disbelievers), their belief that the succession after the death of Muhammad the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) should have passed to Ali (may Allaah be pleased with him), and their belief that the twelve Imaams are infallible and greater in rank than prophets. Cursing Sahaba, performing Mutah zina and lying in rewarded in Shiism. Among their basic principles is the idea of Taqiyah (dissimulation) which means concealment of their false beliefs. Their way is the way of the hypocrites. They have obvious bidahs (innovations in religion),such as building mashhads (shrines) and domes over tombs, and taking them as places of worship, and their remembrance of the killing of al-Husayn (may Allaah be pleased with him), during which they openly commit all kinds of evil actions. The worst of that is their associating of others in worship with Allaah (shirk), when they seek help from Ali and al-Husayn (may Allaah be pleased with them) and all their imaams, unless they are living in societies which do not allow them to do that.

I was born a Sunni and became Shia after several years of study from the age of 19 till my mid 20's. Finally on going to Umrah and Ziayarat in Syria I knew the Ahlul Bayt were the beacon of truth. I was sometimes condemned by "friends" but I don't care. Most my real friends stuck by me and we had great discussions. The Quaran and Ahlul Bayt go hand in hand. This video was so well made. The Shia family here are so elegant. May Allah bless them for their humility...

Shia sect itself is a cause of sectarianism. How possibly did you come to the conclusion that shia's are muslims my dear brother in Islam. It is well known that Shiah means the Raafidah, i.e., the Ithna Ashari Imaamiyyah. They have false beliefs, such as their regarding Abu Bakr, Umar and most of the Sahaabah (Companions of the Prophet) as kaafirs (disbelievers), their belief that the succession after the death of Muhammad the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) should have passed to Ali (may Allaah be pleased with him), and their belief that the twelve Imaams are infallible and greater in rank than prophets. Cursing Sahaba, performing Mutah zina and lying in rewarded in Shiism. Among their basic principles is the idea of Taqiyah (dissimulation) which means concealment of their false beliefs. Their way is the way of the hypocrites. They have obvious bidahs (innovations in religion),such as building mashhads (shrines) and domes over tombs, and taking them as places of worship, and their remembrance of the killing of al-Husayn (may Allaah be pleased with him), during which they openly commit all kinds of evil actions. The worst of that is their associating of others in worship with Allaah (shirk), when they seek help from Ali and al-Husayn (may Allaah be pleased with them) and all their imaams, unless they are living in societies which do not allow them to do that.

Taqiyya is not only a Shia Muslim thing. Taqiyya is a practice in ALL of Islam and it is the act of hiding the fact that you’re Muslim ONLY WHEN YOU ARE IN DANGER. Taqiyya can only happen if a persons life is in danger because they are Muslim. For example MANY Indian Muslims had to do Taqiyya during the partition to protect themselves and their families so that they weren’t slaughtered by non muslim Indians. We do NOT hold anyone above or equal to Allah SWT. When we had Imam Ali or Imam Husain or even Prophet Muhammad for help it is us asking them to send our prayers to Allah SWT on their behalf because they are more pious and sin free than we will ever be. We ask on behalf of their vaseela (google it) to pray to Allah on our behalf. Shrines are not places of worship. Another thing you are gravely mistaken about. We do NOT build or go to shrines to worship anyone. You are so filled with hate and lies it’s truly disgusting and sad. 🤍🤍 It really cleared most of the misconceptions I had. And i noticed there is no difference between a so called Shia and Sunni, we are all similiar then we should stop calling all of us from different names like Shia and Sunni and not make division amongst us. We are all only 'Muslim', all of us following the relegion of Islam. Allah (swt) said in the Qur'an to not make division or sects amongst the relegion of Islam. So stop calling this Shia and Sunni, all of us are just MUSLIMS and nothing else.
