Hey, I have a question for you guys. I love using Blender, and I've been considering learning Houdini for VFX. However, the learning curve seems pretty steep, and as a freelancer who primarily creates product animation videos, I'm not sure if it's worth investing the time and effort into learning Houdini to improve my work. Do you think it would be better to wait for Blender to improve to the point where the difference in quality won't be noticeable, or do you think learning Houdini is worth it? Do you think that's something that could happen? That soon Blender might not match, but reach that kind of level?

I've got a problem with this scene. Everything works just fine, but it doesn't render the whole simulation. Obviously I tried to render an image sequence, but It renders only the first frame. Do I have to bake it somehow?

Today I made setup in animation nodes, that visualize path of particles, but blender doesnt render this effect, only viewport. Are we able to get info about particles in geonodes?

Wait, what the heck is this!? I've been playing No Man's Sky for a few days (just got the Indium drive...) and Blender published a version that can actually render to an image sequence!? In the tutorial you don't show a render, though using the compositor implies it did render... idk. You said a couple months ago the regular simulations in blender was not ready for primetime, and you're gonna wait until June to get a Blender version that could work, i.e., could even render the gn simulations. Can you render the GN simulation like everything else now... Assuming non-fatal constant crashing? For clarity: Can you render an image sequence!? I just realized I need an explanation as to why you choose to have things inside or outside the simulation. In regular blender sims, all the attributes are "inside" the sim. I noticed this before, but I just realized I don't understand the choice to put inside or outside the sim... and/or is this done by you just for clarity, or if you randomized inside the sim it would be like adding a W seed and it would change each frame? Thanks for the share...
