Mayor Todd Nock of Pocomoke City, Maryland provides an overview of U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development's (RD) $5.4 Million worth of investments in the rural community. These investments include the purchasing of new ambulances through Community Facilities Programs (CFP), essential wastewater treatment upgrades through Water and Environmental Programs (WEP), renewable energy projects through the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP), and more.
The mayor emphasizes the importance of these projects for citizens of Pocomoke City, Maryland and neighboring communities. Before closing, Mayor Nock provides advice and words of wisdom for fellow mayors on their quest to create more prosperous rural communities.
