I’ve got the Rottweiler mounts... perfect, but I’ve got knockoff mirrors and you are right in saying “ it’s just not the same thing”. When I can afford it I’ll get the good mirrors.
Those are a much cleaner looking mirror than the obnoxious Mickey Mouse looking mirrors from Double Take, that so many people swear by. I can’t stand having something stick up above my handlebars when riding off road, but I still want to see the riders behind me. I’ve been a 20+ year user of the first compact dual sport style mirror from a company that no longer exists. But I am running out of spares because I’ve broken a few. The mirrors in this video look nice.
I have these on my KTM 500.. I love them, however I have broken a glass mirror but the company sent me 2 when I emailed them as spares so I have zero regrets with these. I would absolutely buy them again. I had to pay the Canadian price also :D ** the mirror glass broke because of a 3" diameter stick hanging across an abandoned rail road track.. not the fault of the mirror whatsoever.
Nice, got a similar setup on my 690 SMC-R but I've got them under the handlebars. Btw you know you can just loosen the screw move the whole clutch system to the right? Makes it easier also to use it with less fingers.
Installed mine on my Cycra probends much better than the stock mirrors worth the cost in my book . Can see behind me just as good as the Mickey Mouse mirrors did
NIce vid... It looks like you mounted the rottweiler in the opposite direction from what Rott's installation showed. Is that true? And since the mounting surface isn't flush, did you do anything to fill in the gaps? Thanks!
Me: These look class!! I'd definitely get these for my bike. You: Mentions price. Me: *Vomits everywhere* Also me: *shits self* This is an accurate portrayal of me watching this video :D
Just got a 701 as well, bought new handguards first and only then the mirror kit. Unfortunately these don't go together. Which handguards are you using?
Hey! I have those same Cycra guards on my '19 SMCR and just got those mirrors. It looks like you drilled the holes on the 'upward' area of the guard and put the screws under the plastic covers, is that right? Any tips and or things to watch out for in mounting?
I love my adapters but the arrow one of my arrow mirrors vibrated loose and fell off and broke the glass. I replaced them with the knockoffs for now. I noticed the mirror loose at one moment then gone the next...lol
They look like they don’t fit properly. Looks like you had to reposition the clutch/brake levers down to not foul on the mounting. Kinda defeats the purpose of having barkbusters
604 Octa, is there any chance you might be in Calgary on Aug 12 Mister.? I'd like to invite You & all my MotoContacts from BC to come join in an Epic BikeMeet. (fist bump)
