Great review. Eight years later this is still the only review actually showing the light and its capability. I'm sold. Grabbing me one now methinks. Great work.
I like your reviews because you show the effect's patterns on walls and floor too and not just a "down the barrel" view straight into the glare. Thanks, really helpful
Sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account? I stupidly lost my login password. I love any assistance you can give me.
@Braden Easton Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and im trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
I have two of these, and in 20+ years of DJing, I have NEVER dropped a light on the ground but in a weird set of two instances these have taken a tumble while on the truss (forgot to disengage the garage door while setting up in my garage for basic equipment maintenance and my wife opened the garage door, taking the truss and lights down with it) They took the brunt of the hit and are still going strong...love these little guys.
Thanks again for this vid... I now have a Mini Kinta and love it, I'm adding a DMX controller, uplighting, 4Play CL, and a secong Mini Kinta soon... also a small laser and a fog machine... That, PA speakers, gig van, the works,.... all by spring...
This a great purchase perfect for a long rectangular room as in the video. Great for indoors or out, if you wanna really set off a smaller venue, office, apartment, 50 or less people kind of space you'll only need 1 of these. And at just under $100, used be remiss not to get one!
Can you tell me how you have it mounted? I’m having a birthday party in my apartment and plan on buying the Kinta FX and a Mini Kinta but have no idea on how to mount them.
I'm considering this as my first light purchase, eventually I plan to build a complete light show featuring a pair of these. Would this be good first light? Would it do OK in a bar setting by it's self? Thanks for the video.....
would you say this is a better buy than the Radius 2.0? They look really similar with an almost identical effect. Just that ones bigger than the other.
Hi there I am thinking of this this item. Do I need a fog machine to see the light rays from the device. Also do you need fog to see any light rays from any other party lights. Thanks
no its not, its a seperate LED to provide the white light. If you use all three lights to make the white, its isnt really white, it turns mostly and off white
im not sure as i dont have the light but im sure that if you play with switches you could figure it out you would most likely be able to control color, speed and strobe with the controller wes1hoskins
Rodrigo Alvarez you don't need anything extra just go into the color setting and zero out the colors you don't want and assign a value to the ones you want and it'll just display that one
+Steve Taylor You will have a much better effect with fog in the air, as you can actually see the beams of light...almost like laser beams even though its only LED.
