Dude thank you for that! Very informative as I'm getting a 900420(looks like you have the same thing) Also good for doing cleaning, this has gone in my favorites :)
@czred1 The video shows how to take the handles off. Once the cylinder is off you can seperate the handles by taking out the screws that hold the handles together.
@Zorack10 Glad I could help. Let me know if you have any questions. I clean my paslodes often and they keep working great. Easy to do once you do it a couple of times. If you need any rebuild kits for them or any other gun just let me know.
Hi great vid thanks. Can you help i have a im359/90 ct. The fan only spins for 2 seconds. Then nothing ? checked battery voltage 6.5v cleaned terminals on bat and gun, but still the same ?? Cheers Steve
Hi Ponch, Thanks for the video. I've searched all over RU-vid for anything on replacing the combustion chamber on my Paslode finish nailer. I was going to have Home Depot work on my gun until they told me it was going to be $125 just for parts ( a combustion chamber and a few o-rings) and then $45 per hour for labor. I found the combustion chamber online for under $40. I work very well with my hands but dont have the knowledge in this case. HELP Please
leave the cylinder head attached to gun only dismantle the back filter casing and main chamber if you are replacing o'rings.only selected models im90 65 etc are designed to completely remove cylinder head without unscrewing chances are you will damage the fan or break a wire with the way you have that dangling
@czred1 the oring will be jaming betwwen the combustion ring and the cylinder head may need to replace combustion ring and oring if it keeps happenign after replacing the oring
@aejinc Yes the bench was pretty messy when I shot this video. The spring is a busy time for repairing nail guns and other tools. The bench may be dirty but that doesn't affect the video to help others!
ponch - One of the best videos on the on youtube per Pasload . Tanks mon!..Hey, my gun actually shot itself. Its the older IMCT model. Shot a ringshank 2-3/8' nail thru the nail channel. I assume nails got entangled and mis directed the shot. Can u tell me how to open up the magazine and get the nails out.
Hi, great video thanks. I just wondered, would you do a video to show where and how to fit the lockout bar follower and spring ( 40 and 81 on the schematic). I sent my paslode to the dealers for repairs but after seeing the quote decided to have a go myself. Unfortunately it came back from the dealers in pieces. I've managed to put it back together but can't see where these parts go.
John Lunt Hi John, this a huge stretch but did you find out how to fit these? I'm in the same situation. I can fit the bar just fine but can't see an obvious place for the spring?
Did you guys find a solution? I just finished taking mine apart and I know where the spring goes. If needed I will take mine apart and upload a picture.
Hi, I have a paslode Impulse IM250A F16...i took my drill apart and am left with one piece...it's a black hard rubber piece approximately 1-1/2" wide with a slight curved shape that I don't know where it goes...can you help me? Would be greatly appreciately! Thanks!
Hi, my gun is firing a couple of nails , then stops, few mins later fires a couple then stops. I have changed gas , recharged battery n cleaned the gun . The lights green and fan is working. Any tips would be much appreciated.
I don't have the IM250, have around 40 different models of nail guns but not that one. From looking at the parts breakdown of it it should be very similar to this. Maybe a few things different but for the most part very similar to the IMCT in this video. They also should be clened fairly often depending on how much you use it. Let me know if you have anyquestions
I think you lift button up and place thin nose pliers underneath then gently prize off the spring has a little loop on end connect that to the gun handle there’s a little plastic spike at top to connect
New gas and fully charged!! The fan turns on and you can smell the gas. Is there a way to test spark plug ? I've seen other videos showing a string clip with a wheel on the end of it that gets worn and won't depress a switch. Could that be the problem?
