Here's just a little video to let you know what we've been up too. Finally bought a Paslode PPN and it was a let down, ill try again tomorrow. Let me know what you think about the solo build idea at the end Thanks. Liam
A solo build is a great idea, will give people a realistic view of what is required in doing their own build. Will also help those who would love to do the build but don't have the confidence. It will let them see that they too have what it take to complete the project.
I’ve been watching your channel for a while now , love the work you do. I was doing some fencing today and every time I banged a nail in is said “send it home” … 🤣 I must of heard you say that a billion times 👍😀
I found problems with the gas at times even with full fuel cell, sometimes they’re faulty, gas being off, even in date, but changing worked, I changed to the dewalt nailers, never had a problem, heavier, but no gas, or extra charger to lug around.
That's bad from Paslode. I have seen you guys hit more twist nails in faster with a hammer. If they fix it/replace it, woudl like to see this again as if it works, I am sure it is a great piece of kit, but at probably somewhere around 500 quid, I'd take a Sternos and more nails! Loving the vids, please keep them coming - really looking forward to the 3 x 3. Cheers! 🤟
Your tutorials are fantasticand i am nearly ready to buy a build pack, just need r To decide on a size. Gonna buy some second hand gear to bukld and lets be honest its a gamble. For gods sake keep the yoh tube going asyourteam are immense
I run a compressor for the ppn , and coil nailers of various sizes also have a pneumatic nail punch for sanding back floors . Obviously its no ideal having to have a hose and compressor so i still use the im350+ for first fix and paslode 16/18g for second fix . The ppn and coil are faultless on air but not something your getting set up for 1 missed hanger
You should have trusted your instincts regarding the Paslode. Even fully working, would it really save enough time to justify the double price of the nails? Great video again, looking forward to more!
Id check the paslodes all tight up top - ours fires fine never really misfires. Somebody had a new one that did similar tightened up the loose part was fine. If i remember right was no tools needed was the part you can tighten by hand worth a shot
I have two of these Twist guns and occasuinally they misfire, but usually they work fine. I mainly have problems when the strips of nails get wet or damp and the adhesive and paper that holds the nails together fails causing a jam that stops the nails going all the way up into position for the firing pin. You need to keep the nails bone dry at all times. Or it could be that the spring loader isnt strong enough to push the nails all the way up into position in which case id probably use the warrenty to get it replaced. They are worth it but I think you may have been unlucky
Buy a paslode and you become a technician because they constantly need maintenance and stripping down, buy a Bostitch strap nailer and the are faultless
Seriously sorry on a rant here but ffs if you make nail guns surely the least your customers can expect is that it nails things? It meant to be one of the best as in its not cheap! Pazlode get your act together! It’s ridiculous
You are wasting money buying all these paslodes … it’ll cost you a fortune to get 3 if you are starting out. Get yourself a compressor for £250 and a decent gun will cost £150 per unit .
