Hey bro, just passed my NASM CPT exam. Great content. Also published the self-study, read the textbook in about 5 weeks start to finish. A week before my test I started drilling the practice exams included with NASM, as well as Fitness (Pocket) Prep. I recorded the answers I got wrong, wrote down the correct answers and found them in the textbook. I found a great Quizlet from Axiom Fitness that had 900+ flashcards that I would drill on breaks throughout the day. I also watched Jeff’s videos on his CPT study guide, I found his part 2 video most useful because of the “postural distortions” content. You were correct about the wording of the questions. “Underactive and Overactive” were not common terms on the actual exam. Instead “stretched & short” or “weak” were common terms. Understanding progression and regression was huge for my exam. I scheduled an off-site exam and watched the “Sorta Healthy” videos on my way to the site. Liked and subscribed homie. Take care
I’ve watched so many nasm videos about the cpt exam and ive been studying for months (little jealous on how quickly you got it done) but out of all the videos i watched your video is the most helpful!!! Actually given question examples and how they ask and what they ask. Im getting solid 90s on my practice exam. Just gotta go back and get the specific muscles down (lumbar extensor example). You gave me so much confidence bro thank you
@MMAvarsity i did the one through NASM, its quick and easy online. A little pricy considering some places offer it cheaper or even for free but those will be in person the NASM one is online.
