This is my PASSOVER (Pesach) grocery haul! This is what I bought for Passover. I did all my food shopping for the Passover seder and to celebrate Passover. So shop withe me to see all the Kosher for Passover stuff I got! I also got a lot of organic food too!

Same, my daughter is due in a couple of weeks and I'm hoping to celebrate a variety of different religious festivals/events with her so we can learn together. I'm not from a religious family, nor are we particularly traditional in culture so I thought it would be nice to celebrate as many different things as we can, it's all so interesting to learn about!

If you want to eat really good gefilte fish buy the frozen rolls (They sell that at every kosher grocery if you have one around you) while it's still frozen take it out of the parchment paper. Sprinkle with black pepper and honey. Bake is at 350 for 1 -1 1/2 hours until the top is nice and brown. It is the best way to eat gefilte fish!!!! We eat it every Shabbos and we even make extra to eat Friday Afternoon.

Passover begins at sunset on Friday night and that’s when the first Seder is.

My family was always so relaxed about what to eat (or not eat) on Passover that I still always have trouble figuring out what’s what. When I was in high school I learned some people don’t eat beans- because they swell in water... I had no clue!

Lol the bean issue is a funny one and recently a lot of rabbis have said that it is now ok to eat beans and legumes (kitniyot as they refer to it) because it is actually just so cost prohibitive to observe Passover when you can't eat those things. But yah I have learned so much this year because of my channel and Instagram as I'm following other Jewish moms many who are much more religious than I am and very very strict about Passover. Anyways lol thank you SO much for watching my video!!
