I loved Daddy Jack and All His videos on Utube! Nice tribute guys !!!! Learned alot from him. Thanks to him I now only use Alta Cucina San Marzano tomatoes for my sauce!! RIP Daddy Jack !! Great guy and yes a heart of gold ...❤❤
Bon Amin Daddy Jack wonderful videos I tried to get up to his restaurant many times but just never got there, Rest in Peace Jack 🍷your memory will last forever! Thank you guys for honoring his memory!
Just a side note to my previous comments. I met a person who I rented a summer place for my family on a lake in New Hampshire back in the 80's. He was an Italian American (Ritchie Leone). I'm not Italian. We became dear friends. In addition to becoming a very dear friend, he and his wife, Jean became "adopted" grand parents to my two daughters. That wonderful relationship lasted for about 15 years until his unfortunate death. I loved him and his wife like family. He taught me during those years everything I knew, at that time, about Italian cooking. Your channel, which I only discovered recently, brought back many wonderful memories, not the least of which you, Paul looks like his twin brother. You guys cook just like he did. No bullshit...just great food. Love you guys!
Daddy Jack was the first you tube video I ever watched. I donated money to his charity during Covid. Jack actually called me to thank me personally. What a beautiful human being he was, will be missed!!
Loved Daddy Jack, New London, CT. Great guy. So glad I discovered this channel. First time I've seen a tribute to him. Thank you for that. You guys are great and very much in the Daddy Jack tradition al Italiano. Never seen Arrabbiata made quite this way but man, it sure looks fantastic! And the garlic bread...forget about it! Love you guys.
Shared some with a coworker who insisted I send him the recipe. I won’t take credit, it all goes to you as I share this video. Thanks again for this amazing meal!
That was a very nice tribute to Daddy Jack. I've been watching his videos for a long time and loved everyone of them. He allowed us, through his videos, to get to know his family along the way and what a great American family it is. I found out about your channel from Jack talking about it and really enjoy it. You guys and the food you make reminded me so much of of my youth living across the river in Hoboken and Weehawken. Be Well
I've just recently discovered my favorite BROOKLYN BROTHERS... never realizing your connection with Daddy Jack. I've watched him for awhile. But until watching *this* video. (A year later) . It's the 1st I've heard of his passing... what a great guy. So much like you 2 brothers.. bringing us the best like we're all FAMILY...may Jack RIP..a really great guy and so much fun watching him cook on his channel😊 thanks for the lovely tribute to Jack ❤
First time watching you. Daddy Jack talked about you saying we should check you out. Wonderful tribute to Jack. I miss him already. Loved your show today. I love the hot sauce too! I was born in Pescara Italy.
I bet that sausage was deliciously tender and that garlic bread was beautiful! I'm gonna make Scarpariello like Jack Chaplin's with hot cherry peppers, but then I'll make Arrabiata with the remaining hot peppers like yours! Grazie mille!
Made this for dinner tonight. My husband said it tasted like it came from a restaurant! 3 plates later…. Crowd pleaser for sure. Thank you for sharing this delicious dish!!
I'm late to the Bro's game here. But since I'm from next door in Astoria I understand every nuance. I'm a Daddy Jack fan myself. How many great entrees came out of those 8- and 10-inch skillets? A great tribute that meets the test of time. And my full appreciation for Jack's family for keeping the channel current and available. It is my go-to! Citing my heritage through 1960, you know I lived life surrounded by Stunads! Before I go out and create one of my own (with the tag like "look it up" since I'm in Nevada now), Is it available through the Brothers?
I’m so sorry Dominic! I know you’ll miss him!! 😔 He had a wonderful channel and I love his recipes! Those videos kinda make him living forever. My heart goes out to his beautiful family, and my prayers are for them to heal! God bless them!

I first heard about you guys from a daddy jack video. I've been watching him for years and couldn't wait for this pandemic to be over so I could go up to Connecticut and eat his whole menu. He seemed like one hell of a guy.
On a happier note I need you to come to Houston and open up a restaurant. I'm starving. NJ to Houston in August and I haven't had a good meal (besides tacos and bbq) since
Daddy Jack is who introduced me to you two and I am so glad! I’ve loved Italian food for my entire life after being raised in an Italian neighborhood as a youngster (having not one drop of Italian DNA). He taught me to cook by instinct and letting go of a rigid recipe. You have given me delicious Italian recipes that use simple, fresh, tried and true techniques to create wonderful meals. Thanks to you all! Daddy Jack, I’m eternally grateful…RIP.
Awwww man, how tragic, this is a great loss for the RU-vid Community, condolences to his family, his friends and to you both, I will miss Daddy Jack and all of his inventive and delicious recipes. 😔
Awesome Guys! As I Have Commented My Family Is From Lazio Region Ferentino Ate This Stuff My Whole Life! Your Channel Allows Me To Make All This Great Stuff For My Family Thanks! Love The Cooking With The Blues As Well Nice Tribute-Anthony
Thanks for the recommendation boys. Great video. And oooooof that garlic bread!!!!! Anyway thanks for the Jack tribute. He was a hell of a guy and a great cook. Keep up the great videos. If Jack vouched for you, you have a loyal supporter in me!
Again, another gorgeous recipe, so glad I hit subscribed, I’m from the East Coast and I’m 100% Italian moved to Phoenix Arizona and can’t find a good sweet Italian sausage, I’m drooling over this
Thank you. We used to buy it at Meat Supreme on 86th St in Brooklyn. They would make it up for me with lamb, garlic , cheese and parsley. I miss NY because of the foods I was able to get there. I had to learn how to make my favorite Italian pastry known as Pasticiotti . The best place we shopped was Uncle Giuseppe's in Long Island. As far as where to live we're happy being in St. Mary's Georgia in our nice small quiet town. 😊
Looks delicious can't wait to try it. Though I would be using spicy chicken sausage as I don't east pork anymore. Also I plan on getting an Emeril Lagasse Past and Beyond Pasta Maker for fresh pasta. As always, all my best.
I know I’m late to this but I’ve been watching old Daddy Jack videos for a while now and trying out his recipes. I hope his friends and family know that his legacy continues. Great channel you guys have here.
I was watching you make your Sunday gravy. It’s my husband’s birthday tomorrow so I decided I would follow exactly your recipe so I’m so excited I’m sure it’s going to be amazing thank you God bless
So I'm going through all the recipes you've posted and my mouth is watering like crazy! I'm so glad I found you guys! Did I tell you I'm Italian too?! Ok Piasons, bring on some more!! Love yas!
Newly found FAN of the BK Bro's coming straight from a BK Lady! I love your videos and I made the gravy and the meatball recipes. Came out delicious! You are so blessed to have a closely knit family. I am on a quest to finding a nice Italian man that can cook like this lol Thanks again for sharing LA FAMILIA recipes. Much appreciated. Big love to Daddy Jack
First off I want to say, "Thank you for response back on the canning your sauce "! Second, I just wanted you to know, I AM MAKING THIS TONIGHT!!! I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED! I had to get the mild cherry peppers and mild sausage. I personally LOVE hot food but my husband can't tolerate hot at all. I am making the bread too! We even got a nice wine and we are going to have us a nice romantic dinner! THANK YOU FOR THIS WONDERFUL RECIPE!!!!
OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS!!!! This was the BEST meal I have eaten in many years! Our date night at home was absolutely wonderful. My husband loved it too. I think every bite we had we were both saying mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm!!!!!!! I give this meal a blue ribbon for sure!!! THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!! I will be making more of y'all's recipes from now on... I am from a small town in Tennessee and you can not find a REAL Italian restaurant around here other than " Olive Garden " yuck! Only thing I like there is their bread and salad, That's It!!! I have had their lasagna and u may as well got get one out of the freezer section at the store and it would be just like they serve. Speaking of lasagna I make mine a little different than y'all do and I'm going to make yours the next time... Oh going to make y'all's cheesecake too. I make mine with cream cheese... I'm sorry I'm going on and on buti can't help it.. Y'all have changed my life!!! Thank you!!!!! So DELICIOUS!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I am so sorry to hear about your loss where can I get some good hot Italian sausage with a fennel in it The best I can do is Johnsonville how to Italian sausage I remember my grandma used to make it homemade back in the day haven't found anything close yet Love your channel keep cooking
Hi, I'm a 40 years old Italian guy, born and raised in Florence, Tuscany, Italy. You know that "mostaccioli" in Italy are Neapolitan sweets and not pasta. What you call "mostaccioli" in Italy are called "Penne Lisce" (lisce means smooth), and Italians hate them, we have even memes on the superstore shelf completely empty for the covid quarantine with the exception of Penne Lisce who nobody touched them. Then... sausages in arrabbiata? Are you serious? In Penne all'Arrabbiata you use Peeled Tomatos, Olive Oil (we hope it is extra-virgin olive oil, and not... whatever that thing is that... it's so transparent that seems peanut oil ), Garlic (a pair of garlic clove, not so much like you use it), DRIED Chili Pepper (3 of them and very small), and Basil (you use it raw, not fried), not other! If you use sausages for pasta sauces in Italy, remember 1 sausage for every person at the most, and if you use them in sauces don't cut them, remove the skin and crumble them!!!! And that "Marconi tomato" isn't Italian tomato, or at least it doesn't exist that brand here.
