omg...I just found your channel today, and I love it. I love that you speak Italian during your videos. My mom was born and raised in Napoli and spoke Italian to me all my life. But she passed in 2005 and I miss the Italian. So thank you!!
Thank you so much!! Sorry for your loss. Hope my Neapolitan reminds you f her. I've done a few videos in Italy. I will add the link below. Hope you enjoy watching them. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GXZ589C5-ME.html
My mom made this with cannelloni beans. Never learned how to make it so the recipe died with her. This looks just like hers. Can't wait to try it! Thank you, thank you, 🙏!
Thank you so much for watching. Cannellini Beans work great too. The reason I started the cooking channel was that to pass down the recipes to my daughters. So happy I did. 💖💖🙏🏻💚🤍♥️ buona Pasqua 🐣
@@eogg25 thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately, lots of times it doesn’t reach the right audience. Hope you can share my recipe with all your family and friends. Thank you.
You're very welcome! I'm thrilled to hear that the recipe turned out great for you. It's always rewarding to know that someone enjoyed a dish I recommended. Sharing food with loved ones is one of life's greatest joys. I'm sure your family will appreciate the delicious soup you made. Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or need more recipe suggestions!
HELLO MY FRIEND, LOVE THIS DISH I MAKE IT ALL THE TIME...GONNA TRY THE ONION ON TOP NEVER THOUGH OF IT....AND THE INFUSED OIL IS A NICE TOUCH AS WELL..
Thank you Ann! My nonno has a table with a draw on the head of the table. The draw had the grattacaso (grater), chili peppers and black pepper. The table is still around and my cousins have it. Such beautiful memories. 💖
This looks delicious!!! My Nana made a wonderful pasta and beans!!! I’ve never had it made with celery and carrot, that makes me feel more like chicken soup flavor? I think I want to try minus the celery and carrots. Thank you 😊
@@alessandrasfoodislove sooooo true lol, my poor fig tree is confused 😕 it doesn't know if it should drop it's leaves and go dormant, or give me more fruit lol, Jersey weather 🤷🏻♀️
Hi 👋 Alessandra Nice too see you again. I always loved pasta Fagioli growing up I still make it now and again .I am looking forward to giving Your recipe a try its a little different than mine ,can’t wait to give it a try looks good . 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🥰🌸thank you . Your friend Mary.
Hi Mary, So many variations to this delicious meal. I like simple and delicious!! You probably have figured it out my now. Lol. My mom would add the end piece of the prosciutto. Oh my it was absolutely delicious. That’s when she had a deli. People would but quarts at a time. Such wonderful memories. 💖💖a big hug to you my friend! 🥰🥰🥰
I love your videos. You cook similar to what my mother did. I will tell you a little secret lol I use 1 and half can of Cannelloni beans in the broth and blend half can and add to broth. Super yummy. My mother is from Priverno Latina and I have lots of family still there :)
That's a wonderful tip! I'm glad you enjoy my videos and that they remind you of your mother's cooking. Using canned cannelloni beans is a great way to add extra flavor and protein to your broth. I'll definitely have to try that. It's lovely to hear that you have family in Priverno Latina. Italy is a beautiful country with a rich culinary tradition. Thank you for watching!
Devo assolutamente fare altri video a Vico. Grazie sempre per le tue bellissime parole. 💖💖
chris has never had pasta fagoli but he watched this & now he needs to try it lmao. now he’s subscribed & watching your apple cider zeppoles. i got him hooked. 🤣
I never thought to add chilli pepper. It looks good 👍 I sometimes add ham to it. But I'm starting to think up this years Seven Fishes menu that I'm gonna make. I'm looking for ideas. Do you think there might be some type of fish that could be added to the pasta fagioli...would cod or salmon work?
Hi Bill, Thank you so very much! My mom would add the end of the prosciutto. It was delicious. One amazing combination is pasta e fagioli con cozze. Pasta and fagioli with mussels. It’s a recent version of it and everyone in Italy makes it. I totally love it. Will be doing a video recipe soon. Thank you for watching 🥰
Oh I so wish I could use mussels. That's one of my favorite seafoods (memories of my Aunt Minnie's mussel marinara). Unfortunately, in my old age I developed a mulusk allergy. 😥 Thank goodness it's just mollusks.
