I totally remember thinking at the time (in high school) that the pyramid was ridiculous. No one should be eating that many servings of food in a single day. Fruits and veg, yes, but that is a TON of grains!
Yep, I remember the hand operated, attached, swing across the face of each screw on pasta shape die, cutter setup that the Popiel ("/Ronco"-labeled) model had. Fowler did other infomercials for and with Popiel as well dating back to Fowler's QVC days, so there's 0% percent chance that in reality this was really anything other than a "RONCO" or "POPIEL" creation, except with the "Creative" brand name slapped onto it instead.
"for over 7 years". That really inspires confidence in their cheap plastic tat. Those plastic extrusion dies will produce pasta with absolutely no texture so they won't hold any sauce.
