I left the Baptist church and was led by GOD to the Adventist church. So many loving people in my old church. Did I ramble on about why I left, no. I went out quiety, nicely, and respectfully. Revelation 12:17 King James Version 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. The only church who meets this as stated by the Bible. I am so thankful to GOD to be shown this !

From Jamaica. I was led by God to the SDA Church. I am not going anywhere. In the church there are a mixture of persons. But in due time GOD will shake HIS church and all the pretentious persons will be shaken out. So I have no fear, I just want to be faithful and keep his commandments and do HIS will every second of each day. My hope is that all GOD fearing persons do likewise.

Obedience is better than the sacrifice of christ I think he spoke in the context that christ obeys before sacrifice or Christ's worthness to become a sacrifice for us depends first on His obedience to the law of his father If christ live a Disobedience lifestyle his death will be vile to blot away sin. I believe that a good portion of SDAs are part of God's remnant church, but there are more Christians in the world who also keep all 10 commandments, they just may not know all the other truths in scripture. We should be careful about saying the SDA church as a whole is the one/ only remnant church of God. The church will eventually let us down, but the word of God stands forever. ❤

Dear Brother Lawrence, what version of the Bible are you quoting from in your videos? Please let us know by showing the version on your quotes. Your quotes don't match what I read in the KJV Bible. My grand father always say there are demons in the church and I never understood until I became adults and experienced some not so nice people, but I survived. I'm not surprised that they would be planted in a church that holds God's Truth. I'm always reminded by Yah that I'm not in the church for people but for Him.

I am thankful to God for Pr Skeetes ministry. But a point not covered here is: Many have chosen to leave Adventist places of worship because of Pastors who preach in opposition to Gods Word. They teach things not in accordance with the Bible or our world church votes. Many now meet in small home companies. We have not left the SDA church but may be portrayed as if we have. We are faithful to those Biblical fundamental doctrines we hold dear. We are hanging in there, seeking shelter from ravening wolves.
True but I also have friends that have left the church because they are mad that the church doesn’t affirm their leftist woke beliefs including affirming LGBTQ and affording ordaining of women as leaders and pastors. They think the church leaders are too conservative and judgmental. They leave the church and they are wrong to do so

Leaving the building is not the same as leaving the church. God's church has no walls, has no denomination. Jesus presides where two or three are present who love and obey the commandments of God. ...for the presence of the High and Holy One can alone constitute a church. See 17 MR 81.4 "God Has a Church"

Obedience is better than Sacrifice. The context Bro Lawrence is that if we disobey Christ's commandments. His dying on the Cross to an individual in disobedience means nothing.

Did you read the first comment? The truth is not confined to a denomination. True sda's are also found outside of the denomination. The disciples did not leave Christ, but they left the church in their day. Salvation is in Christ not a denominations, that's utter nonsense. Jesus left the church with his disciples. Leaving a church doesn't mean mean abandoning the truth. By the way, the truth is Christ.

The duty of a leader is to always lift Jesus up above everything instead of putting something like the commandments above him. Moses failed to lift God up in the presence of the assembly and God was very displeased. Without the sacrifice of Christ, the Father will not receive us. In fact if we loose sight of the cross we will only fool ourselves thinking that we are keeping the Sabbath. Yes we must keep all the commands of God, but that is not what saves us. The merits of the sacrifice of Christ is what saves.

I will always appreciate what I have learned by God bringing me to this church and I will continue to gather with His people whether it be at an SDA building or in the woods somewhere. When you say they keep all 10 Commandments we have to be careful how we word that we should say all 10 original commandments because of the commandments that most people follow today there’s 10 of them. They are modified as modified by the Roman church so therefore we need to say we keep the original 10 Commandments.
The commandments talked about are the 10 that God wrote in the Bible and Ge said they shouldn’t be altered. The Catholicism have no power to change the bible as it is the word of God not the pope.

I disagree with him based on his interpretation of the “church.” The organization and the church are two different things. God is coming for a prepared people (individuals), not an apostate organization. God has a church he is coming for, and it can never be Babylon.

I believe the 7th day is the Sabbath yes but are SDAs keeping all the commandments...believing in the 4th doesn't mean one is not lying, stealing and committing adultery. God's church are those who are keeping ALL God's commandments and so it cannot be a denomination in particular. However, if we believe the SDA church has the right doctrines and you are being spiritually fed there, take the message and do not be so bothered about all the church politics.
Yes. The statement made by Pastor Randy Skeete is scriptural sound. What makes the sacrifice of Christ acceptable to God is because if His obedience. If he faltered in one point the sacrifice wouldn't be acceptable. His perfect obedience makes the sacrifice special and amazing. Praise God

When Pastor Skeet said that what he will say may cause a little concussion, he was correct. If I were to follow his reasoning, which is not Biblical, I might adopt the idea that my salvation is complete simply through obedience to God, rendering the sacrifice of Christ unwarranted. In summary, if I were to adopt Pastor Skeet's reasoning, it would suggest that Jesus Christ's sacrifice was unnecessary, as salvation could be achieved through obedience to Father. Additionally, Jesus Christ would be made a liar because He said in John 14:6 "... I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Essentially, if obedience is another way to God, Jesus would have hidden that truth. But a quick context on the obedience and sacrifice issue: In the Biblical economy of Israel, the ceremonial law, which entailed animal sacrifices, was regarded by Israel as a means of salvation, rather than viewing the sacrifices with faith in the coming Lamb of God (Jesus) who takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29), to which these sacrifices pointed. Therefore the scriptures says the following: - Hebrews 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. - Hebrews 10:5-10 5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. 7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. 8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; 9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. 10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. In conclusion, Pastor Skeet should correct that statement, as it lacks biblical basis. I believe he has a tendency to get ahead of himself despite his good intentions. Finally: Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

They have real bodies in heaven. They are present with us by their Holy Spirit. The church teaches the fatherhood and sonship are just metaphors. He doesn’t represent them anymore. His teachings represent the church teachings because the current leadership accepts them. Doug Batchelor teaches the same thing. Anything taught in Ministry Magazine and BRI is official teaching. The men mentioned and others like them teach a lie. 1 John 2:22-23 KJV Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. [23] Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 1 John 4:15 KJV Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. This is a salvation issue. 1 John 5:5 KJV Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? We know Jesus is divine. How do we know he is divine? God the Father said it twice that Jesus is his “beloved Son. Matt 3:17; 17:5; Mark 1:11; 9:7; Luke 3:22; 9:35. Apostle Peter was filled with the Holy Spirit of God when he declared in Matthew 16:16 KJV - Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus answered by saying, "Upon THIS ROCK", Jesus declared ... "I will build MY CHURCH" v. 18. That is why Peter wrote, 2 Peter 1:17 KJV For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And how do we know Jesus is the Son of God? All the new translations say merely, this is my only Son or unique Son. That is confusion. God has many sons by creation and redemption. What renders Jesus to be the unique and true Son of God in his nature as divinity. The key is believing that he is “the only begotten” of the Father. Jesus said in John 3:16, 18 that he is “the only begotten Son of God.” We can’t know how except he clarified in other texts. John 8:42 uses the term “proceedeth forth” before he “came” or sent by God. It is the same expression used in John 16:27 and 28. It is the same thinking in John 13:3. He “came out from” his Father before he sent him into the world. The disciples finally understood what he was saying. Since chapter fourteen, all they heard was a “proverb” or figures of speech. They testified Jesus spoke plainly. They believed that he “camest forth from God.” The Lord’s final prayer includes this belief when he told his Father that they took him at his words and that they believed that Jesus “came out from” the Father. See John 17:8. That is why apostle John understood Jesus and repeated the word begotten. John 1:14,18 KJV And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. [18] No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. 1 John 4:9 KJV In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. The subject of the begotten Son of God was a favorite of James White, Joseph Bates, J.N. Loughborough, D.M. Canright, J.M. Stephenson, R.F. Cottrell, Uriah Smith, Steven Haskell, E.J. Waggoner, and George Butler. As well as of R.A. Underwood, J.N. Andrews, J.G. Matteson, W.H. Littlejohn, H.C. Blanchard, C.W. Stone, D.T. Bourdeau, A.T. Jones, J.H. Waggoner, W.W. Prescott, and E.G. White. The church abandoned us when they refuse to support our religious conviction on avoiding the plague serum. Ministers denied our obligation to uphold the divine law of health and pressed us to yield to civil authorities as if they were ordained of God. They refused to give exemption letters with a church letterhead. Why? The church built itself a creed and a church manual. The so called 27 or 28 Beliefs are not a creed in themselves. The church manual enforces them according to page 62. It will punish anyone who does not follow the party line. The founding pioneers and then the first and second generation Adventists opposed the creed and church manual. The Bible was their creed. Andrew Wang of the North Pacific Union Conference. He is general counsel and director of public affairs and religious liberty. He said in 2021 the church supports the taking of serpent bite. You know, the one that causes rapid cancer or the person spins around into a death spiral all the while looking up to the right or left and then drops dead like a cockroach being sprayed by a nerve agent. “How does God prevent disease? He will use things that are to heal us. He will not use things that harm us to make us well. See Exodus 15:26. He is the LORD that heals us.” “There is a message from God that is dealing with health. We will be tested on it. You will not find in the Bible the concept of making people sick to make them well. Vaccines are not mentioned in the Bible as a disease prevention manner.” “So even if the technology does not contain anything unclean like swine, murdered babies, snakes and even cows.” “The vaccine is still unclean. A virus is unclean.” “There is a Health Law. Deuteronomy 28:58-61 Disease exists because of lack of disobedience to the law of God. It is not because of lack vaccines. This is a general statement.” Deuteronomy 7:15 This is how our church used to think in the 19th century. So any affiliation with denomination brings danger to the self. The reasoning is that you should follow the teachings of your church or any group that has a creed. You are subject to their will. Since they believe in taking the planned plague prick, you should submit. Get thee behind me Satan. My household shall serve the only true God, the Lord of heaven and earth. We call upon his name. We call upon Jesus, his only begotten Son full of grace and truth. They are in heaven and they sent the Holy Spirit as their comforting presence. We submit to no man when it comes to religion. The church had to organize for the sake of the conscientious objector during the Civil War. Where is this church now? Clueless.

I don't go to a SDA church, but I stopped Sunday worship when I heard the truth of the Sabbath..I live in a small country town, there is no SDA church here...I went to another town 25 minutes away to attend the SDA church. My concern is that they celebrate Easter and Christmas which are totally pagan festivals...I can't go along with that...I try my best to observe the Sabbath at home by myself as my family do not.
Pastor Randy went overboard when he said that to obey is better than the sacrifice of Christ. The sacrifice that God was saying is better is not better than obedience was the sacrifice made by man to God. In other words what a person can offer or sacrifice to God must not abrogate what God has commanded us. It's our offerings or our sacrifices must not cover our omission of obedience to God. On the other hand Christ's sacrifice makes our obedience acceptable. What obedience can we give to God if Christ did not die. Clearly we must distinguish which sacrifice is enjoined.
I would restate Pr Skeete’s words in this way. There’s often a difference, though there should not be, between a denomination (including possibly SDAism) and the truth and that is because sometimes the devils get to chart the direction of any denomination. I am not saying that is currently happening, but it has in the past (see EGW, acceptance of 1888 message for example) and it probably will in the future. But devils do not get to change the Scriptures or the work of the Holy Spirit in a person’s life. Never abandon truth, truth authenticated to you by the Holy Spirit! As I understand what the SDA Church’s proclamation of the message of Jesus Christ, I believe they are appointed for a special assignment during this time in earth’s history, often referring to ourselves as the “remnant church.” Remember, that while that has a very special meaning, we cannot unequivocally state that there are not sheep still in other folds who are being saved by the grace of Christ, and their salvation doesn’t necessarily require that they be members of the SDA Church, any more than the thief on the cross. Don’t follow us pastors or other leaders unless you can verify through personal study, prayer, and Holy Spirit guidance that we are in harmony with Scripture, regardless of denominational policy. The “business operation” of the true church (SDAism) will be disbanded in the time of the end, just as the organized church has always been driven from the public square through the millennia, under the onslaught of persecution, which is here, and will rapidly increase in our lifetime. Just look around at the news. The call is to remain faithful to Christ through faith, trust, love, obedience, prayer, study, service, and fellowship, NO MATTER WHAT! Don’t leave to follow a pastor! Don’t leave because there’s a devil in the pulpit! Don’t leave the truth (which while a denomination may have it presently, they may give it up in the future) because the local church, local conference, union conference, divisional administrative or GC leaders are going contrary to your understanding of God’s Word and/or character! God separates the wheat and the tares. Personally trust God to do exactly what His Holy Spirit and the Word reveal to you as you continually talk with and submit to the Almighty Creator and Saviour and soon-coming King throughout you DAILY, MOMENT-BY-MOMENT walk, through every second of your daily life. A lot of these churches are not preaching and teaching anything good. Many are teaching Babylonians sorcerery. He needs to make sure that the pastors and elders get this message. We should not leave the truth not the denominations,There is no safety in denominations but in the truth.If a denomination claim to be a particular God's church but is compromising the truth and apostating ,will it claim still that it is a God's church? God is not a respector of Persons but accept those who fear him and worketh Righteousness..There was a God's church in Jesus days call the organised Main denomination but rejected the truth and STILL BELIEVE in their system that was God ordained until they died with their church Pastors and the denomination on AD70 but the small ministry Jesus Christ raised conquer the world with the Gospel.Yes we may have God's worldwide church BUT BUT if the church falls into Apostasy history will repeat itself,God will raise Pockets of ministries worldwide to finish His work.History is their to be our Lesseon to be True to the principle of Truth.God bless..🕊🕊🕊🙏🇵🇬
I attended many other churches searching for truth but found man made doctrines. I heard biblically sound sermons on the book of Daniel and Revelation at an Adventist crusade many years ago, those truths were a turning point in my life. I was baptised into the Adventist church because I truly believe that the SDA is the remnant that holds fast to ALL 10 COMMANDMENTS. If I should turn back to any other church, I will be turning back to perdition. 'He who knows the right thing to do, yet fails to do it, to him it is sin'. James 4: 17
@kay-em7ks -yes, I "had" the same experience you did, but I left the SDA church when I began learning that Ellen White is a false prophet who has providing the church with her and her husband's "man-made" doctrines! Do a google search for a website called SDA Q&A and find any videos on Steve Daily who had a few times been a guest on that program. He has a wealth of information. The host of the SDA Q&A is former SDA Peter Dixon. My eyes have been open and while I left the false SDA church and its prophet, I still believe in God and keep the Sabbath. It didn't turn me into an atheist nor did I run to another church to attend there. Blessings!❤🙏
Sacrifice must always be the fruit of obedience. Jesus is the perfect example of sacrifice through perfect obedience to his Father. Abraham and Issac are the TYPE of that obedience through sacrifice.
How can our obedience be better that Jesus's sacrifice? our works without faith in His sacrifice are DEAD! The argument that without Adam's disobedience we would not need Jesus' sacrifice is a null argument, since Jesus is the lamb slain before the world was founded. God in his omniscience and infinite love knew Adam would sin and prepared the plan of salvation BEFORE He created Earth or even the angels - there is nothing more important to us than this.
Jesus' perfect obedience of His Father's will made His Sacrifice on the Cross meaningful and perfect and paved The Way to His Father possible for man. Obedience must come first before Sacrifice, not the other way around. You cannot Sacrifice and then obey. You must obey first and then Sacrifice so that the Sacrifice can be acceptable to God.
Church is not an organization. Church is any person who understood Jesus. Philippians 3 Paul said, I am ftom the stock of Israel, an Hebrew of Hebrews, circumcised the 8 day, touching law, a Pharisee, touching zeal persecuting the church, touching righteousness in the law, blameless. I have counted all these loss for the excellency of knowing Christ. Forsake all to know Christ and that's the church.
