i think this is a more favorable matchup for Golden State than a healthy Memphis was. I look at going against Dallas as more similar to going against Denver - who they beat. i say this because both have one dominating superstar, but the supporting casts are not as strong (imo) as Memphis'. However, i will say that Dallas is scarier than the Nuggets bc it seems like Luka really raises his level of play in the Playoffs and specifically elimination games.

A couple things to remember with the warrriors (and I know I kind of forgot this getting frustrated with the higher than normal sloppy turnovers and missing open shots in this last round) 1, steph and Klay have honestly always struggled with Memphis and basically every iteration. Haven’t looked up the stats but if memory serves there is likely not a building in the league steph in particular has shot worse in in his career. To the point that it feels like it’s a mental thing with seeing that jersey almost. But the more important point that was T gone in depth on. They have only played 11 games as there basically fully intended roster…all in the playoffs. Steph, Klay, dray had 11 minutes of time on the court together during the regular season after not being together for 2 years. While there is muscle memory stuff they have from the past even the three of them have to refind their groove together let alone having entirely new rotations the team wasn’t using the entire season. So they are in some ways back in beginning of the season mode behind the eight ball a bit. Which I guess is also a testament to them that even not playing particularly great so far, they are in the WCF.

Warriors can win in many styles of play and match other teams however in Game 6 against Griz, Dubs trying to match speed for 3 Q's until the 4th when they played Dubs game and slowed it down and played in rhythm. Warriors need to play their game and not the Mavs.
