Both of these guys were NCAA champs this year in 125 and 133 lbs.

This was so raw without commentary! The match was weird because it felt like Vito was winning the whole time but points kept going to Pat.

I think Vito got confused. I still think Vito was the better of the two. I think the better wrestler at 125 won the title. Suriano was on a mission, nobody was stopping him.

I was there live. This is the same official that totally screwed Chad Red against Sebastian Rivera in the Qtr Finals. He’s an ACC ref and Jordan Burroughs is correct to suggest he never get to ref a college match again. We boo’d him out of the arena but it doesn’t change what he took away from Vito and Chad Red.

At 4:56, why wasn't this a reversal?

Just had camp with coaches from Princeton today and they told a story about how they knew Vito would overcommit on that slide by Pat loves. They made the adjustment right before walking out the tunnel to instead go for the single when Vito reacted. The way he wrestled just shows how coachable the guy was and his faith within his coaching staff since the last outing he had vs Vito. Great job by Pat Glory and the Princeton coaching staff. Hopefully next year Pat gets it done.

The ref should have been looking at Glory's shoulders instead of Vito's.

Vito had a reversal and 2 backs. You can even tell when he’s getting counted for back points it takes him a second to realize he’s giving up points. If refs are gonna be slow to call reversals, needs to at least be danger call added for top guy, not just from neutral

Epic match, think vito got a little greedy there that weird position in the 2nd.

Vito was actively looking to score back points while Glory was busy defending at 04:40 (2 reversal for Vito). Vito proceeds to put Glory in Danger for at least 4 seconds starting at 04:55 until 05:00 (4 point nearfall for Vito), then Glory is able to roll through enough to instigate the officials count against Vito (wrong call in my opinion). I think it should have been 2 reversal at 04:40 and 4 back points for Vito, though Glory does eventually end up on top for a reversal. The official seems to be on top of the action (almost literally); might have benefited to give himself more space to view the action?

The Ref seemed so slow to call anything for vito yet jumped over the action calling near fall while mid air for Pat. Am i the only 1 seeing this?

Even with the reversal glory would have gotten another reversal and back points. It doesn’t change anything. Vito was flat on his back for a solid 1.5 seconds and was in more danger than glory.

At the end there, that was definitely back points, Vito basically gave up

Don't see robbery everyone is referring to...I see Vito yell fuck on national t.v. and no point taken...I recall RBY having a point deduction for slamming his head gear down..yelling fuck def was a point deduction but one call can't be the basis for a 5 point loss folks
