It's called 'journalistic objectivity' and it's why back in the day you'd see guys on the news with emotionless faces and monotone voices because they're taught to state the facts and try not to show favoritism to one side or the other. Unfortunately, so called "journalists" today don't abide by those teachings so it's no surprise that there's an entire generation out there who thinks "Journalist = opinionist" (opinionist isn't a word, btw). You've been brainwashed if you actually believe that.

Yeah, maybe Cowherd used to be a journalist when he first broke into the business but those days are long gone. He's no longer interested in simply reporting the story, instead he chooses to create the story.

Yes, but if you're looking to get into actual journalism (cultural/political), the "Pat McAfee journalist career" turns into a "commentator" style role instead of actually reporting the news. And you can do that without a journalism degree - look at Vaush and Tim Pool, and those are just two examples. This is why *actual journalism* should still be sought after even though we see less and less of it.

Yet they are both fantastic and guests almost always leave happy and they open up to them during the interviews because they are genuinely good people and interviewers.

They also both participated to the highest degree in the thing they started talking about. Rogan as a comedic celebrity and the voice of MMA and a former TKD national champion. Pat is a NFL vet and mostly speaks on football. They are more qualified than traditional journalist.

Hell if they wouldn’t get caught in 109 lies per day they wouldn’t have that problem. I went and looked at a fact check segment. They listed 15 items what 13 of them they said was facts. I do my home work and come to find out 12 were not facts. Very easy to verify using my own sources. In the Soviet Union the communist party controlled all of the networks. The democrat party controls all of them including fox. Fox only puts on tv what the dems are okay with. The big juicy stuff they won’t allow it on tv. Now it doesn’t matter what party you are. It’s common sense it’s dangerous as hell for a political party to control the news at all much less all of the networks. And for people who do t understand how. The lobbyist and everyone that donate money to the politicians. Those same people also send money to the tv networks. And they are hurting for business so they take the money but when they take the money they now no longer can report facts it can only support the party that paid them.
