Agreed I'm a stooli and pat did a stint there ......and dion sanders mother f in prime time did a football show with barstool every week this past football season ..tv as a whole is dead sports media ...news etc. ..it's all on the internet ..we know it they know it ..and skip bayless knows .....when skip and Stephen A had a thing at espn that was the peak of it ...all down hill since then ..and ps love the aaron rodgers weekly
@@N_manMETA11 he’s probably right bro skip does this for the views because it brings in major money because the amount of attention he gets. All shows are like this
I just watched rodgers and heard him call this part of his media he said it's his favorite part or by far his favorite idk the exact quote but he definitely said it's part of his media idk if he said media duties that might have been it but either way go listen bro seriously cause I'm not saying this to defend this guy or that guy just saying it's what Aaron said himself
It seems like, other than this show, the Skip Bayless genre of sports talk is all there is anymore. I mean, ESPN should just rename itself "What Stephen A. thinks".
@@nicholasskridla2475 Yet they keep getting views.....the shock value keeps them in our mentions. Look we're on Pats channel talking about them 😉 They've done their job
@Ryan Boyce Not be be that person, but it's "pissant". Only point that out because it means "insignificant and contemptible", and as you said, it nails what Skip is so well
Awe, don't like people calling out crybaby Rodgers.. get over it, even #12's own team can't wait for him to be gone, they drafted up to pick a QB nobody had ever heard of 😂😂.
@@ericforsyth but he forgets that for most NFC championship games Rodgers has to will his team there because they had a god f***ing awful defense almost every single time. Even this year he outperformed Brady. If the packers defense was any good they beat the bucks, hands down.
Skip couldnt explain or answer why you run a zone in basketball and why the mavericks would run a 2-3 zone against LeBron. The jalen rose thing was great. Skip bashes everyone and someone talks sh!t on him and he has to spend over an hour defending his high school career and how unfair it was from jalen 🤣🤣
You just know skip is watching this laughing his head off at like 3am because he got the guys to spend time talking about him. Whole thing is hilarious
And they're bitter they are no longer the ones who automatically get all the big interviews and "scoops". Those old boys are being phased out by people like Pat and Jomboy
@@Stizzfoshizz Exactly. They be all on Arod not knowing Arod don’t like them. Especially Stephen A. Smith. So bitter that they won’t even quote the show lmaoooo
Everyone's mad because they wanted to hype up the "Aaron Rodgers is done with Green Bay" train and he pretty much shut that down yesterday. They're also jealous because they can't get Aaron Rodgers on their show (I wonder why...)
I love your show Pat. I also liked that interview with Rodgers. It felt more like a conversation between friends, were Rodgers felt really cool. It was genuine. The way you laughed off all the criticism from Skyp was really classy! Keep up the good work guys!
To be quite honest he hates Aaron Rodgers more than Lebron He fails to realize that yes Brady is the unquestioned goat but we as packers fans have never seen a talent and skill such as Rodgers it is truly like the kd and lebron comparisson for me kd is better than Lebron but Lebron is more accomplished Aaron Rodgers is top 5 all time and the best quarterback ever and Brady is the goat Why can’t he just appreciate both of them for what they bring to the game Brady is the ageless wonder and Aaron Rodgers is like watching bob ross paint it’s effortless
@@bean181 I’m no Lebron fan but that’s neither here or there. As far as Rodgers goes, he’s supremely talented. I just think his personality doesn’t allow him to get into that hyper focused or obsessive mindset that Tom can tap into. Overall Packers have been blessed with a naturally gifted QB in Rodgers and an absolute beast in Favre. I hope the trend continues.
That’s hilarious how he views things. I kinda do the same thing but instead I imagine daily run ins with weird people as if they are Disney or Pixar characters and it makes it the much funnier.
That’s 100% Skip. The dude nearly broke down in tears defending Brady’s performance earlier this year. Legit sounded like my bi-polar ex during an episode, it was beyond painful to watch
@@EccentricMeat Dame exposed him after he talked to Skip on the phone last year. Skip admitted to him it's an act for TV and apologized. Though I don't doubt sometimes his ability to be himself versus his character is likely lost since he's been doing it for so long.
This is hilarious. Skip doesn't even know what that was for. I believe it's a thank you for the show and its from Aaron Rodgers fans and not just Packers fans. I'm a Seahawks fan and I love me some Aaron Rodgers.
Oh totally... He must have a blow-up doll of Tom Brady for sure. Tom can do no wrong, even tho he almost handed the Packers the win in the 2nd half of the game. But I love the Skip and Shannon show. It's ok to disagree with Skip. I can get a little like that with Arron sometimes
@@chiefmegadeth bro Brady scored 30+ points in 3 CONSECUTIVE road games.... against 2 TOP 5 defenses, and 1 top 5 pass defense In GB.. No other QB managed even 2 consecutive 30 point games.. And NONE of his ints hurt his defense in terms of field position... c'mon you clearly a Brady hater.. Watch the game and understand the situation in which he threw picks.. It's why Pro Football Focus Ranked Brady #1 in football this postseason...
@@chiefmegadeth: He handed the Packers the win, and Rodgers handed it back. Just like he handed the win to the Seahawks after his D forced 5 turnovers. Or how he tried his darndest to hand the Bears the win in 2011. Yet all we hear about Rodgers is how he carries everyone around him and has no help, while Brady is a system QB and the luckiest of all time. If Rodgers threw those deflected interceptions, you’d bet both he and the media would throw the receivers under the bus for messing up his statline.
The movie Ali perfectly portrayed the interaction between reporters, athletes, and the media. These guys act and pretend to hate each other to create a show that boosts their ratings. It’s truly amazing.
Its hilarious, he didn't even know what he was participating in, but that's Skip, he sees something on Twitter and he reacts, knowing he will get thousands of reactions
This platform was extremely interesting. The dichotomy of this group of clowns really pissed me off. I am an avid Vikings fan and grew up to hate the Packers and wanted to hate this segment. How can anyone really dislike Rodgers. Rodgers is an incredible athlete and even better person. Don’t get me wrong I loved seeing the Packers lose but come on man Rodgers is the real deal. He is one bad ass man. Congrats to Pat and his team, you rock.
Keep it up Pat McAfee!!!! The era of people who played JV their senior year like Skip Bayless bashing the world's best athletes is coming to an end!!!!
I've never seen someone who hates a player as much as Skip hates Aaron Rodgers. Idk why he wants to see him fail so much and constantly roots against him. He refuses to give him any credit for any of the Packers' wins, and he blames him for every Packers loss. Did Aaron sleep with his wife or something like seriously
It's because Rogers and LeBron are not who HE sees as the greatest so therefore they are just taking attention away from who he thinks is the greatest. He then feels the need to knock them down to make his opinion seem more correct. He does the same thing with Mahomes.
The Pat McAfee Show and Strong Opinion Sports are the only ones I watch these days. They actually care about putting good content out and care about their work.
@@kingmisogyny1852 thats fair but still. Skip was put in his place by Sherman years ago which I enjoyed even if it was cringeworthy. Those are the kind of moments I remember about him. And him being wrong about the Cowboys for years.
Because sports shows don’t care about well reasoned take or actually something that makes sense. All they care about is clicks and views and good ratings. How do you think Perkins and Peirce, and SAS are still on the platform
Man u legit make me laugh pat i love the show i love sports and u just make it that much better..btw i love skip and shannon skip is TOP TEIR pest..love it! Cheers to the boys on ur show!
Around 3:29, Pat nails the dynamic of almost all sports shows. For skip and Shannon, skips cynicism serves as the perfect contrast to Shannon’s more measured approach. I think people really like the personalities on Pat McAfee because all of them take on that villain role in each conversation at different points.
@@ZacharyBrodka No. Two were on consecutive drives and then i think another one is when he just slightly over threw mike evans and even as tipped it to the defender. regardless i think rodgers really needed to step up and capitalize after that
This is literally the story of Tom Brady, and nobody wants to acknowledge it. He has never been the most talented QB, hes very intelligent I will grant him that, but talent wise hes never been top. His defenses have been crowning him for years and everyone credits him for it. His first THREE SB's are from defense and FG's.
He's universally regarded as worst sports writer, talking head, whatever. Everyone talks crap about him. He's lucky he hasn't had his ass kicked yet. Need a Jim Rome/Chris Everrett moment
@@christian7200 wow overreact much? Your saying that yet you felt the need to post to my reply with a crazy amount of emojis? I guess this old man talking on the internet affects you that much that you had to post. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💀
It is tough. Alex jones among others who cover those type of topics often has a great point for 5 mins and runs off the rails with conjecture that makes everyone forget how good the initial point was. It's almost as bad as fear mongering for money like legacy media. I dont watch him, but if it's about sandy hook, check out the local guy who pulled public records of the electricity bill for the school. It was closed for two years before the alleged shooting.
I agree some what with Skip, it's almost like you guys are so happy/lucky to have Aaron on your show you would never ask difficult questions to potentially jeopardise that relationship or make him feel any pressure.
