I actually have a cool AJ story. Before the draft, some draft hopefuls will sometimes do signing events for some cash on the side. AJ, Bobby Carpenter, and I think it was Whitner were coming to my local mall for autograph session. So the day comes and my buddy and I show up early as we're die hard buckeye fans. My buddy is also a die hard Packers fan, and bought a brand new, full size Packers helmet for this occasion. He said it was for AJ to sign and I told him he's an idiot because he might not be going there. My buddy said "Oh he's going there!". Lol anyway its our turn and he hands the helmet to AJ to sign, and AJ says "Huh, this is the first Packers thing I've signed so far, what if I don't go there?". And my idiot friend goes "Cmon AJ, you know you're going to GB". Everyone laughed, but I remember specifically Bobby looking at my buddy like he was a moron LOL. So my buddy still proudly displays that helmet as the centerpiece for his man cave lol

His brother Ryan has some stories as well..... split time with Ben Roethlisberger in college (early on) Ben obvious took over and had a long NFL career. But Ryan was good. He is a businessman in Ohio and has done a motivational type speech to the company I work for and he swam the swimming portion with 2 NFL players who did the run and bike portions and showed up for a interview the next day where this fortune 500 company ceo watched it on like ESPN 8 and didn't know he was interviewing the man who competed with a bunch of NFL players and extreme athletes and when the ceo realized he realized and was told the triathlon story he got the job..... there was a lot more to the story just a awesome guy
