I would get it once I get my face lasered to death and have perfect skin. This coverage is nowhere near enough for me, I'd have to use half the bottle lol
Nice video. I think the primer side looks slightly smoother. I love this foundation. For me, it has worked vest with the Tatcha silk canvas primer. I haven't tried the primer or powder yet.
I want to invest in one of the two foundations. Im the same skintone and same skin type as you. I really do like the finish of this one but if you had to pick between the two foundations which one would you pick? (longevity, colour, oil control, worth the price etc).
I understand the coverage is different however this is not an issue for me I can just build up on PM, and sometimes to thin out foundations I just mix some moisturiser and can do this with CT :)
It would depend on your colour match. For me, the Pat McGrath foundation is a better shade match than 7.5N in CT airbrush flawless foundation. The oil control properties seem to be the same (or lack thereof) in both foundations and so is the longevity. Maybe go into a store and see which one matches your skintone better and go from there.
Thanks for the in-depth review. After watching the review, I think it’s similar to the Urban Decay Stay Naked foundation. The Stay Naked foundation is really lightweight and doesn’t feel like you are wearing foundation. I actually had to touch my face a few times to make sure that I did apply foundation as I felt like there was nothing on my skin. I never had to blot my face at all and the foundation stayed in lace the whole day. I use the Laura Mercier oil free primer and Nikkia Joy setting powder with all my foundations. From the review, I don’t think the Pat McGrath foundation is worth the money.
I haven't tried the UD foundation but based on what I have seen on RU-vid, it does look like foundation while PM one does not. For me, it's truly worth it for being such an amazing shade match, for surviving almost a 12 hour day outdoors and in rain and for staying put through all the blotting. I absolutely love this foundation. 💕
I think it look the same on both sides. I’ve used it with tatcha silk as well as too faced peach & prime in my t-zone to help my oils and it looks beautiful. Your eye look is very pretty am always afraid to try blue shadows.
Not sure about 17 since it looked yellow/orange on me.. Using 18 in winter would depend on how much tan I get before winter comes around 😊 also, I have so many other foundations which I could use or mix with this 😊
Oh, I've been so curious about this foundation! You're totally right about how beautiful the foundation is and how the primer didn't seem to do... anything? Lol. As someone with dry skin I may still check it out, though. I wanted to ask, do you think this feels/applies like any other foundation? I did a bit of googling and it seemed like the first few ingredients of the foundation were the same as the GA Luminous Silk Foundation and was kind of surprised. Anyways, thank you for such a thorough review! Also, that eye look you put together is beautiful!
Thank you 😊 haha, the primer just didn't do anything for me (in a way happy about that considering the price) 😉 Jaime Paige here on RU-vid has dry skin and she said the primer actually made her dry skin worse. You may want to check her video out. In terms of feeling, it's really tough to say since I have a goldfish's memory 😄 but this feels increadibly smooth and light on the skin but with more coverage than GA Luminous silk (from what I can remember). But, overall I think I love this foundation extra for being an amazing match for my skintone. 💕
I'll definitely check out her review, thank you for the recommendation. The foundation really does sound amazing and yes, having an exact match from one bottle is awesome! Pat McGrath really knows her colors!
