It's really been a great addition. I love when a product actually works as advertised. This thing is a time and finger saver! #CompactTractor #NewHolland
I have the Pat's quick connect, I bought them when I had a 1952 Ferguson TO30. Since then I have updated to a MF 1725M sub compact. I have put the Pat's on the MF and they work great. I prefer them to quick connect bar.
I have two sets of pats They work great on both my tractors I never use the center rod as my tractors have pinned sway Control bars All my attach ments are old and not quickhitch compatable
I've never seen that recommendation, either. The only caveat is that you have to ensure your cutter PTO shaft is long enough to account for the extra 4" displacement behind your 3-point hitch, and the top link may be too short. In my case for my Cat II set-up I purchased both a tractor PTO extension and a longer top link. The center bar ideally is used only when hitching up an implement to space the lift arms appropriately. It certainly would be in the way for most rotary cutters.
how much side to side movement do you have without the bar if you were to pin the sway links? I was hoping that I could get the Pat's system and just use the pinned sway links to keep them set at the right width.
